~~ Somewhere at Umseleni~~

A woman stands by the gate of a big mansion house she used to own she looked at the big yard and her heart becomes heavy it's now that she realized that What glitters may not be gold, and even wolves may smile, and fools will be led by promises to their deaths.

she was so tired she has walked miles from the rural settlement to this place, her feet are swollen and sore her backaches and her health is slowly deteriorating but she was not giving up, she has lost far too much to worry what the world thinks of her, her Hope made her see that there is light despite all of the darkness surrounding her

" mama kodwa yini ukuzi hlupha ?"
A security guard says holding her arm and helping her sit on the pavement,
Every month for the past 13 years she has been coming to this house with one massage only

Her: I'm sorry to trouble you my son but..."
Guard: ma I told you that if she comes here I will drive her my self to your house "
She wiped her tears
women: she left when she was so young I'm praying and hoping she comes back, I failed her as a mother I was more focused in having my dream life than thinking about what my daughter is going trough "
The guard looked at this women there was more to this story than what this woman was giving out, she came here every after three months in the year asking if her daughter returned to what used to be her home, looking at her now you can never tell she own such a luxurious house and lifestyle she looks like a warn out village women, darks dry skin, old rags she calls clothes and cracked feet,

This place is well known for ukuthwala this is how people made a lot of money and their riches, the guard looked at her a bit freaked out, he was not sure if the story of daughter running away was true or she killed her for sacrifice for riches

could this woman have been part of such ritual sacrifices her own daughter for riches? But if that, not the case Why did her daughter run away from home if she ever did have a daughter, the way that this woman is acting she is no different than a crazy or haunted person, the guard thoughtful thought as he looked at these old women breathing heavily next to him.

The guard walked back to his guard room and took out cold water from the fridge he also looked at the lunchbox that his mother made for him, he could be selfish and eat it alone but this women outside the gate look like she has not eaten a decent meal in weeks

Guard: please take this "
She looked at the young man who has always been kind to her but she can not accept his
generosity she shook her head
Me: I cant my son thank you"
Guard: if you take this meal and this water I will bring your daughter myself to your house the minute she comes back looking for you "

The women smiled she had hope again her little girl will come back,
Women: thank you my son you so kind may God bless you "
The guard smiled,
Guard: what's her name again so I will write it down "
The women smiled with tears in her eyes, it was the little thing that the guard was saying that lifted her spirit and hope
Guard: You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean, if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty have faith ma, not all mankind is evil or wicked I hope she comes back
" her name is Nomcebo Makhaya"

His heart started pounding out of a blue this was not normal he looked outside the window and he saw four white doves flying towards his house,
this can not be it,
He thought about the box  he got 10 years back from his father with letters to him and his brother, he only took one envelop on top of the stuck of other envelopes, and read it a few days ago,

The envelope read “WHEN I’M GONE.”
