It repeatedly played back on my mind..

But... why?

I don't get it, i really don't get it..

I tried to be calm, and go back to my senses, baka kasi mali lang ako ng dinig,baka kasi ibang tao ang sinasabi ni Dy, baka kasi... arrggg! baka kasi..

Baka kasi ano?

"But How could it be possible?" tumayo ako at lumapit kay Dy.. "matagal ng—" suminghap muna ako at humingang malalim, "matagal ng patay ang mommy ko, she was resting in peace for almost 19 effin' years Dy!" but she just stay stiffened,and her face is hard to read, nakatingin lang siya sa labas ng bintana and i was facing on her side,i gently holds Dy's arm, and tryin' to hold back my tears.. "Dy naman.." i almost choke on my word,but still,trying to calm my tone, kahit nagsusumigaw na ang puso ko sa kaba sa mga maaring matuklasan ko pa.
"Where is she? My mom! where is she?" I asked pero hindi man ako tinapunan ng tingin ni Dy at diretso lang ang tingin niya sa labas ng bintana..
"Pucha naman Dy!!" I hold her arms with grip.. and force her para tingnan ako, "ano to? Puzzle trivia? Connect the dots? Anu bang klaseng laro to Dy?!" I burst out, naiyak lang ako, she finally look at me face to face, pero bakit ganun? Hindi ko Talaga mabasa kung ano ang nilalaman ng isipan niya? but her eyes, her eyes, full of anger, pain..sadden,mixed emotions, hindi ko alam kung anung pinaghuhugutan ng kung anuman ang mga ibat-ibang emosyon na nakikita ko sa mga mata niya. "please.." i bit my lower lips, para pigilan ang mga luha kong nagkukumawala pa.

"I.. i.." umiling-iling si Dy.. "i.. i can't, i can't tell you everything... if i blow it now, baka kasi—-"

"Lj apo!" Sabay pa kaming napatingin ni Dy sa baba, it's Papilo who called us.. kaya naudlot ang pag-uusap namin ni Dy, i composed myself bago ako sumilip ulit sa bintana.. "sabi ko na nga ba dito lang kayo," with smiles on his face,buti nalang at madilim dito sa loob ng treehouse at hindi masyadong halata ang pamamaga ng mga mata ko.

"Papilo, bakit po?" I asked..

"Nag-prepare ng dessert ang Mamila mo
Apo, gustong patikim kay Dy.." Papilo sound's very excited and smile "baba na dito apo!"

"Opo Papilo!mauna na po kayo!susunod nakami!" I said,and forced myself to smile, kahit masakit na masakit na tong nasa loob ko.
Kahit gulong-gulo na ang isipan ko,pinilit ko paring kumalma.

Tumalikod na si Papilo at naglakad, hanggang sa hindi na namin siya matanaw..

"So tell me, do they know about this?" I asked calmly and in a low tone,without looking at her.

Umiling si Dy "i don't think they know about this," she sigh "cuz if they do—"

"Cuz if they do? what?—What Dy?" I asked but again she just stays in silence,and surely hindi nanaman niya masasagot ito, i sigh and shake my head "You do really like cliffhanging huh?" Sarcastic all over my tone, then i lowly laugh without humor.
