"Do you love me dad?" I embraced my dad's arms, habang nag-iikot sa malaking espasyo ng Farm namin,

"Of-course Princess, why did you ask?" He smiled sweetly looking at me, i nodded and smiled back  to him.

"Do you love mom?Dad?" I asked again, tumigil siya sa paglalakad and look at me.

"O-ofcourse.." he said

"But why mommy is always crying every night? Saka bakit hindi kana umuuwi sa hacienda?" I asked pouting my lips,

"Princess, busy lang talaga si daddy sa work, but it doesn't mean na hindi ko na kayo mahal ng mommy mo." He said with the pain in his eyes.

I am almost 13, hindi naman ako ganun kabata pa para hindi ko maintindihan na hindi na sila nag-kakasundo ni mommy lately, at kaya hindi narin napapadalas ang uwi ni daddy sa hacienda.

"Dad,.."

"Hmmm?"

"Do you also,...love her?"

"Who?" Kunot-noo ni dad.

"Her.." i asked "your secretary"

Napatigil si dad sa ginagawa niya and look at me, intently..

And force hisself to smile.
"Stop this nonsense Princess, let's head back home baka hinihintay kana ng mommy mo."

"You are obviously dodging the question dad!" i raise my brow to dad and crosses my arms...

Pinaningkitan ako ng mata ni dad,
"Aren't you being impertinent to your dad, young lady?" Madiin niyang salita.

"Dad, mahirap bang sagutin ang tanong ko?" I asked,

I know, i'm being disrespectful right now, but what should i do?

"You don't need to know Yana, masyado kapang bata para dito." He said saka na siya nag-lakad ulit.

"Bata, dad?!" I sharply sigh "i'm almost 13 dad!! i'm not that young anymore, para hindi ko maintindihan, para hindi ko maintindihan ang lahat!." I slightly raised my voice.

Humarap si dad sakin, "you're not young anymore but still you are acting like a spoiled brat." He said na may pag-kunot na noo..

"I'm not dad.. you know i'm not.." i said,voice trembling, pero pinipigilan kong hindi maiyak,and look on the ground like my life depends on it.

Lumapit sakin si dad, he slightly bend and cupped my both cheeks, his face soften.

"Princess, i'm sorry, i'm really sorry, but you know, when you grow up, you will understand clearly, kung bakit kami nagkakaganito ng mommy mo." He weakly smile "ok, ganito nalang" he straight his body and kiss me on my head "I'll make it up to you, sa 13th birthday mo, let's celebrate with your mom, it's that ok with you?"

Sumilay ang magandang ngiti ko at naglambitin sa leeg ni dad like i always do,

"Really?!!!" Bulalas ko "cool!! I love you dad!!"

Dad laugh with my reaction, and hugged me tight.,

like it was the final hug, that we will share.
