Jordan's P.O.V.

I keep eating my salad, completely livid at this point. I am not hosting some stupid reunion. I am not allying with them in some fucking war. I am minding my business and my pack's business. I guess my wolf is more on edge than me because I have openly been using all kinds of powers around Braven and Axle.

I shrug to myself and keep eating. I finish up my salad and grab a roll. I'm about to start spreading butter on it when a scent hits my nose and a low, deep growl demands everyone's attention in the room. Of course, everyone looks, but I stay still refusing to look at him. I butter my roll and continue eating paying him absolutely no attention. His growls get louder and is demanding I look at him.

I break out in laughter. My seafoam eyes are jet black and I look up at him. My breathing falters as I'm met with bright blue eyes and a beautiful man in my presence. He makes Braven look like a pipsqueak. Despite my immediate attraction and Estelle trying to get my attention, I am livid by his disrespect. I block Estelle out. I can channel her strength and power without ever interacting with her. It is quite wonderful.

I release a growl of my own, challenging this man. He approaches me. I do not raise from my chair. Our eyes do not waver, and we are staring each other down demanding one of us submits. I fucking hate alphas and their bullshit idea that they have to be in control of Lunas. When he gets too close my growl is so loud the table is shaking.

He sits in the chair to my left never dropping eye contact. Our growls slowly decrease in noise and since neither submitted, we must speak on how we proceed. I wait for him to speak. Braven is looking back and forth between us and Axle is shakily drinking water.

"Luna Jordan, what a pleasure to meet you," the man speaks lowly and never takes his eyes off mine. "I am Royal Alpha Liam," he smirks and flashes his canines. If I wasn't so focused on forcing him into submission and declaring my clear dominance over him, I may have noticed how gorgeous he was. He has raven black hair like Braven's, but his has this beautiful golden glow around it, as if his aura was pure gold.

"Luna Jordan," he rolls my name out smoothly and I can feel slight goosebumps. "How would you like to proceed on our situation? Can you make it easy and just submit to me already?" He questions with a smirk and a smart-ass tone. I scoff, not being able to hold in.

"Aw, Liam," I hiss his name out not bothering using his stupid title. I can see his body immediately tense and he growls. I smirk and an evil chuckle comes out. I love having that much power to affect him. "I do not submit to wolves who are weaker than I," I draw out and flash my long canines and growl back at him.

I can sense how uncomfortable Braven and Axle are, they both want to join in and protect their alpha, but even if they tried, they couldn't. I've had them locked in their seats since he entered my dining room. I refuse to have a three on one battle. That would just be embarrassing for them.

"I will lower my eyes, but I do not submit to you Luna," Liam brings me back to our conversation. "We do have more important things to deal with in the present rather than this," he states maturely and to the point. I wait until his eyes drop down and then I resume eating. Braven clears his throat and I look up waiting for him to carry on.
