Liam's P.O.V.

I listen to everything my brother expresses to myself and Jordan. As she finds out more and more about the abuse, I can see her shudder and her eyes become darker and darker. She is getting more and more pissed. I internally laugh at her. She is doing a fantastic job running this pack. Jordan clearly has love for her pack and the wolves of her neighboring pack who are experiencing harsh, cruel abuse by this weak piece of shit alpha.

"We are ready to move in and attack. We will help you at any cost, but my packs' lives are not free," she states. Aw, smart girl. She doesn't want us getting too close to her. She wants to negotiate land. I smile and turn away to her.

"I assume you want land and a new border to be put in place, so us 'Royals' aren't too close to you and your pack," I emphasize the word royals just to get under her skin. However, she surprises me and does not respond in any childish manner. She simply nods.

"You are correct. Currently, the alpha and I have a treaty. I will have to have you all look over it and remove our agreement. You are the only ones who can end a treaty since you are the Royals. I will allow you and your forces a place to stay on our pack land for the battle. We will do all we can to assist you, but I want 50% of the territory. I want to take the pack under my control, and I want a constant barrier with 50 miles in between our borders. We are not allies and I will not be entering into anything more than a peace treaty with you," she states everything out clearly. I can't help as my face shows how surprised and taken back I am by her agreement.

Braven and Axle look between the two of us not sure how I am going to respond. I look at her with a blank stare and then continue eating. I completely disregard what she says. The kitchen servant refills my glass of water and brings me my next course. I continue eating. I can feel everyone's eyes on me. I look up and Jordan's eyes are jet black and she is infuriated that I ignored her.

I chuckle. "Luna Jordan, we can further discuss these details behind closed doors. I would like to enjoy the food your staff has made for me while it is still warm," I reply smoothly, and I can see her eyes return to the beautiful green they are. She nods her head and resumes eating herself.

The rest of the dinner resumes calmly. Axle even gets Jordan to laugh. Her laugh is beautiful. My wolf, Grim, has already alerted me she is my mate. However, Jordan seems completely oblivious to it. I've heard the rumors about her, and I can sense her incredible power already. I'm assuming she has cut the link to her wolf, but as soon as she allows her wolf in, she will know.
