Liam's P.O.V.

I wake up and feel the burning sensation around my wrists. I growl and the silver burns my skin as I try to get it off. I look around and try to recognize my surroundings. I soon determine I'm in Jordan's cells for rogues. There is a tray of food on a table nearby. I can reach it to eat, but it will cause pain to my wrists by moving.

That bitch put me. ME. The Royal Alpha. She put me in a cell and chained me in silver. Grim must have pissed her off last night, but Jordan does not realize the mistake she has made by locking me up. I stand and walk over to the small window I have to view out of the cell. From the shade and placement of the sun, I gather that it is about noon or so. I release a loud powerful growl. I howl out for Jordan and use my Alpha voice to summon her before me.

I wait for an hour or so. I sense someone coming and I am infuriated with Jordan. I am ready to murder her when I get out of these chains. I look up and am met with Braven's eyes. I growl. "Let me out of here right now!" I growl at him, completely pissed that he is laughing. Braven busts out laughing even harder.

"Well, brother. You have quite the mate on your hands, hm?" Braven gets out after laughing. I growl at him and roll my eyes. "I cannot let you out, but I can ask the guard to summon Jordan down here to release you," Braven calmly explains.

"I already summoned her here." I growl back at him. He facepalms and rolls his eyes at me again. I growl loudly and he flashes his neck in submission. I am not tolerating this disrespect anymore. It is ridiculous.

"Liam, you used your alpha voice and demanded she come free you. We were in the middle of a meeting when you did that. She did not rise. She did not move whatsoever. Jordan rolled her eyes and continued speaking to her pack's lead warrior about the details of the attack," Braven's eyes do not meet mine and the anger fills me to the brim. How dare she fucking ignore me and my demand?

I attempt to calm myself down before I shift while in silver. The pain of the shift while cuffed would be too extreme even for me to handle. I slowly calm down and after twenty minutes of refocusing, I look up at Braven and nod my head to him. He goes to ask the guard to summon Jordan. I can't wait to get my hands around her pretty little throat.

Thirty minutes later, I feel her presence. I tense and turn to look at her. She's practically skipping to the cell. A smile flashes across my lips before I can stop it. This damn mate bond makes it hard to stay mad at her, plus she does look adorable skipping in her dress. It's white with lemons all over it. It only reaches the mid of her thigh and a low growl bubbles out of my chest at the thought of someone looking at her legs. Her blue hair is down, flowing behind her and her bright green eyes look at me with innocence. That little brat knows she's not innocent in the slightest.

"Good afternoon my mate," Jordan coos at me from outside the cell. I stand and walk over closer to her being careful not to touch the bars. She looks at my wrists and sees the burns and I can see regret flash through her eyes briefly. If I hadn't been studying her face, I would have never caught it.

I smile brightly trying to hide how pissed I am. "Hello, Jordan. I would like for you to release me now. I can promise I will only approach you with respect and I have already reprimanded Grim for his behavior last night," I reply to her calmly. Not all of it is a lie. I am only going to approach her with respect, but I did not reprimand Grim. He was within his right to want to mark and be with his mate. It is part of the process.

"Aw, you think I believe you?" She smiles and asks with malice in her tone. I groan, this woman is going to be the most difficult thing about my life. What did I do to deserve this, Moon Goddess?

"I promise to be on my best behavior," I give her a pout and flash my canines. She rolls her eyes and tells me to back up so she can come in. She touches the bars with no issue. Her skin is not burning, and she is not in any pain. The bars are silver, I know they are. "Why are you not hurt from touching the bars?"

She shrugs and approaches me. Jordan takes the cuffs off and grabs my wrists. I hiss out in pain and try to yank away from her. "Stay still stupid," her eyes close and she turns my wrists over in her hands, so my palms are facing up. I calm down and watch her. Jordan's blue hair lifts in the air around her and she mutters something. I feel something wet on my wrists and look down at them.

Jordan is crying and her tears are healing my wrists. I blink several times and my eyes are wide in shock. "H-how are you doing that?" I ask with panic. I have never seen a Luna heal a wolf with her tears before. Hell, Lunas who can heal her pack are rare and usually the process is so draining the Luna must rest for several days afterwards.

Jordan's hair lowers and her eyes open. She drops my hands and looks up at me. Quickly, Jordan turns on her heels and walks out of the cell. She bends over and grabs something off a shelf and throws it at me. "Get dressed," is all she says before walking away.

I look down at the clothes and put them on. My mate is fucking incredible, I must admit, but where is she getting all this power? I have got to get back in that cave and figure out just what my little mate is.

I finish getting dressed and look down at my wrists again. They are completely healed with no scarring. My brows furrow together, and I look back up. I follow Jordan's scent to the kitchen.
