Jordan's P.O.V.

The water feels cool on my body and the sunset is beautiful. I float on my back and look up, taking in the beauty of the sky and its pink and orange swirls of color. A smile takes over my face, and I stay that way for a while. Just floating and watching the sun setting. A few hours go by and the moon takes over the sky. I swim to the waterfall and move behind it.

The barrier spell I put up to keep Liam out is still working. I mutter the disenchantment and climb into the opening of the cave. "Alright ladies, if you want to talk, now is the time," I call out to my wolves, and soon a white light starts coming out of my chest. Freyja, Cerra, and Lilah all sit and stare at me. I wait for them to begin.

'Jordan, we feel it is time to tell you about your childhood,' Freyja begins. I shake my head and give her a confused look.

"What do you mean? I remember my childhood," I run my hand through my hair and shake my head still confused.

'When you separated each of our souls from yours, we all took some of your worst memories with us. A lot of times we would take control, so you did not have to deal with the abuse,' Freyja explains and turns her head to face Cerra. Cerra's eyes stay trained on the ground.

"Cerra... What is Freyja talking about?" I ask the small black wolf. I move to sit down, so I can make eye contact with her. Lilah comes over and lays her head in my lap. I begin stroking her fur absentmindedly, waiting for someone to answer me. "Freyja?" I look over at her, but she is still staring at Cerra. I sigh.

'Jordan... It was a week after your fourteenth birthday. One day, your father invited Alpha Drake over. You don't remember, but Drake used to be around a lot. Your father and he would often team up together and beat the hell out of you. Well, that day Drake was here to visit and discuss the treaty they were signing. They couldn't come to an agreement on it. Your mother refused to let your father agree to part of it. The part that said when you turned 18, Drake and you would wed, and the packs would combine. You as Luna and him as Alpha. Your mother thought it was disgusting that he wanted to wed you. He was in his thirties and you just turned fourteen..." Cerra pauses and looks up at me. She has tears rolling down her snout and Freyja moves closer to her and nudges her to continue.

'Your father had to handle something among the pack, so he left the conference room. Drake waited for thirty minutes before he also got up to leave. He came to your room. You were doing homework while your mom was out getting some things at the grocery store. She just left. You were fine. I was sure we were fine. Drake... He raped you,' Cerra ends her story.

Something in me breaks and I begin sobbing. Lilah sits up and starts licking the tears off my cheeks. "C-can you show me?" I hiccup and ask, looking at Cerra.

'Jordan, you don't have to do that. We just felt it was time you knew. Cerra and I tried to take as many memories of the abuse with us as we could, so you could remain as normal as possible,' Freyja begins to explain. I shake my head.

"Freyja, I want to see all of it. I need to see it all. I need to know what actually happened during my childhood," I look at Cerra and back at Freyja. Cerra approaches me and the white light surrounds her. The light covers her until only the light is left. It shrinks down into a tiny ball, but instead of going into my heart as usual, it races to my brain.

Everything flashes in my mind and I can feel every lash, cut, bruise, I can smell Drake. I can feel the weight of his body on top of me. I hear myself screaming and crying, begging for anyone to help me. I open my eyes and Lilah is still licking the tears from my cheeks. I look to Freyja. Her head drops, but she approaches, and the light does the same as it did with Cerra.

Freyja replays everything in my mind, including the pain of her soul being ripped from mine. My body begins shaking as I relive all the horrid memories and the pain. I scream, it feels like my body is on fire. I can feel everything all over again. I see my father bringing the whip down across my back. I see his wicked smile. My mother is screaming for him to stop and begging for him to leave me alone.

Lilah nuzzles her head into the crook of my neck to try and calm me down. I wrap my arms around her neck and sob into her fur. Eventually, I end up falling asleep, but Lilah never goes back to my heart. She stays, watching over me all night. Every time I woke up screaming, she would calm me back to sleep.
