Chapter 25:Snowball Fights

"Ell"Jack called up the hall as he saw his girlfriend walking up the corridor after leaving her charms lesson.

Estella turned when her name was called and smiled brightly when she saw who was calling,she waved goodbye to Mary McDonald who she'd been talking to and walked towards Jack.

"Hey, what's up?"she giggled
"Well Hogsmeade is this weekend and I was wondering if you'd come with me."Jack blusher and Estella punched his arm playfully.
"Git"she exclaimed "Of course I'll go with you"she then slipped her hand into his and smiled before they made their way down the corridors back to the dungeons.

Estella woke up early the morning of the Hogsmeade trip,she threw on her Slytherin jumper and a pair of black leggings.She tied her raven and chestnut hair in a low ponytail and applied some mascara and eye shadow before gently applying eyeliner.

When she finished tidying her corner of the dorm and packed a small bag for Hogsmeade she headed up for breakfast and sat down beside Narcissa.

"Your up early"Estella giggled when she saw her yawning sister.
"Mhhh"huffed Narcissa who was clearly not in the mood for conversation nevermind being awake.

After piling her plate with eggs and toast Estella looked across to the Gryffindor table she saw Sirius,Remus and Peter whispering about something and she saw James practically begging Lily to go out with him while Lily looked disgusted and Mary McDonald,Alice Fortescue and Marlene McKinnon we're laughing their heads off. After a minute Sirius looked up and made eye contact with her they both smiled at each other faintly before looking down at their breakfasts.

"You know Sirius's sandy haired friend is actually cute"Narcissa said allowing Estella to look at her as if she had 10 eyes.
"What!"laughed Estella
"All I'm saying is he's not bad looking"Narcissa defended as she cut into her scrambled eggs.
Estella shook her head and smiled at her older sister as she felt someone slide onto the bench beside her.

"Hey"Jack smiled sleepily placing a slice of toast on his plate.
"Hey"Estella laughed still thinking of Narcissa's comment.
"Alright Ell?"Jack smirked at Estella who was beginning to laugh harder and harder drawing attention to them.
"Yeah...I'm fine"she cackled before she toppled off the bench and stayed on the floor laughing.

"Did she drink this morning or something"sniggered Maureen Bullstrode as she strode past them,her little posse consisting of Charlotte Fawley,Caroline Fawley and Adelaide Nott following her.
"Ad a mimute please"Jack asked sharply to his younger sister.Maureen,Caroline and Charlotte looked at Adelaide with a look of pity as she nodded and followed her brother.

"What's up with you?"Jack asked once they left the Great Hall.
"Nothing"Adelaide said as she rolled her eyes
"Adelaide,you and your little 'friends' need to be nicer to people"Jack ordered
"Jack I appreciate your concern for me and for Estella but I'm 99% sure we're both fine"Adelaide smiled before walking back towards Maureen,Charlotte and Caroline.

Jack was unaware of the new arrangement between his sister and girlfriend.....

Estella and Adelaide look like enemies to the public but they could get along their arrangement was that Adelaide agreed to tone Maureen's behaviour towards Estella down as long as she never had to see Estella and Jack snogging.... again...there was an incident...

Jack sighed before returning to the Slytherin table and finishing his breakfast.

Meanwhile Estella and Narcissa were having a snowball fight outside when the Marauders turned up and Sirius created a huge one I his hand and threw it at his two cousins who shrieked and wrestled the snow retaliate.

The girls screamed as more cold snow hit them as the four boys hit them with their advantage of two extra people that is until two snowballs hit them that weren't thrown by Estella or Narcissa.The six teens turned around to see Lily Evans and Marlene McKinnon gearing up more snowballs to throw at the boys.

"Please stop please!"Sirius screeched after the girls had very obviously won.
"Admiring to defeat already Black?"Marlene teased
"Yes"Sirius exclaimed his eyes wide and his hands up in defeat.
The girls giggled and shook their heads and the four exhausted boys.
