10 - Tired

"Sorry for everything." He told me again with his eyes full of candor.

My lips parted with those words he uttered. It's too new for me and I don't picture him, as in never, saying sorry to anyone.

Parang sila pa ang kailangan humingi ng tawad mula sa kanya by mere setting his eyes on you.

She's looking for me!

"Thalia!"

We heard the footsteps of Zoey but seconds later, they disappeared.

It's too late for me to notice that our faces were inches apart.

I unconsciously bit my lip but let it go immediately when Zavi drifted his eyes on them and his expression darkened.

"Zavi." I softly mumbled.

We had eye contact again until I realized that we were like this for a moment and I hate to break it but I step backward to give some space.

Redness flashed on my face because of the embarrassment. I bit my lip again to refrain it from trembling.

This will be the first time we were this close. As in literally.

I saw him shut his eyes tightly and when he opened them, I met the fire radiating in his eyes. I don't know if he's mad or something.

Whatever reason it is, I can't help but capture those alluring orbs. His eyes are too undeniably beautiful and achingly irresistible not to take a look at it. More so, be looked at it.

"Uh... babalik na ako sa taas." I didn't let him say anything and step forward to go upstairs.

However, he caught my arm again and tried to make me still in my position.

"You're avoiding me." He claimed.

"You're really avoiding me." He repeated.

"I'm... not." I cleared my throat because those words came out louder. "I'm not," I told him again with my normal voice.

The creases on his forehead never disappeared. I have the urge to run my hands on those for them to disappear.

"Care to tell me then why you're not visiting the company?" He inquired.

"Uh..." Nahihirapan akong mag-isip ng rason. "Busy. Yes. I'm busy." Bigo akong salubungin ang tingin dahil parang malalaman niya na kanina pa pala ako nagsisinungaling.

He nodded looking convinced with what I'm saying or he's just finally letting it go.

"Then, you'll visit once you're not busy?"

"Oo!" I exclaimed. I saw him smirk and that was when I realized what I blurted out. I almost face-palmed with what I just said.

"Okay. I'll be waiting there when you come." He stated.
