04 - Boy

"You're a freshman, right?" Tumango naman ako. "Why are you taking Architecture?" Dagdag niya.

"Wala lang." He raised his brow as if he's not convinced with my answer.

"It's true. Wala talagang rason. It's just that I know how it works so I tried." I saw him nod. "Ikaw, why did you take up Architecture?" I asked.

"Well, same old story. We have a firm and they want me to run it together with my brother after I graduate so Architecture." Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya.

It's undeniable for them, who are born in rich and powerful families, to run their companies in the future.

Some wanted to follow in the footsteps of their family while some have no choice but to follow it.

I admire those people who are brave enough to fight for what they want. But I also admire those who don't because, even though it's not their own choice, they are still striving to be better in the eyes of their families.

Well, it's a matter of perception. The most important is that, in every decision we do, we are happy, we are determined to achieve it and also we don't step on someone else's.

He's fun to be with and never boring.

May mga kwento siyang nakakatawa that makes him fun. He's got this playboy aura kaya siguro kayang kaya niyang ibagay ang sarili sa bawat tao.

He knows how to mingle with them without getting them offended or what.

He insisted to take me home and I nodded.

As soon as we went out of the restaurant, I stilled.

I looked at him. "Jave, uh.... there's something I need to do. Thank you for this but I have to go."

In fact, he's glaring.

"I can drive you there." He replied but I shook my head. "No, it's okay.

"Next time, huh."

"Bye." It's too late for me to reprimand him as he waved and enter his car. He maneuvered it and drove away.

I looked back at him and he's starting to walk in my direction. I bowed my head to prevent myself from staring at the deadly stares he's throwing me.

"So, you're busy with that boy. I thought you'll come today." His deep voice resonated.

"No!" Sigaw ko. "It's just that we have some deal kaya sumama ako sa kanya." Agap ko.

"Deal, huh? Then, the deal comes with a kiss on the cheeks also?" His voice was cold and you can hear something in it but it's unbelievable.

"No, Zavi. I am also shocked when he did that. I'm sorry." I don't know but I feel like I need to say sorry.
