39 - Care
I offered Zavi to let me drive but he never let me.
The familiar way made me realized that we're going to his condo unit.
Looking at Zavi right now, you won't notice that he's not feeling well.
"Good morning, Engineer."
I, on the other hand, smiled at them.
When I glanced at him, I caught him looking at me. Kakaiba sa tingin niya kanina. I just looked away because of the intensity of his stares.
050919.
That's my birthday... and the day when we got in a relationship.
"Zavi..." I trailed off. He glanced at me.
"Hmm... you can cook now?" A blush crept on my face with his question. Nahihiya akong tumango.
"Hindi masyado. Iyong mga simpleng pagkain lang. I learned that back in New York." Paliwanag ko.
"I want to watch then..."
I looked up, and he's still looking at me with his hawk eyes.
I frowned with what I thought. Here I am again assuming things.
He gathered the unruly strands of my hair and tucked it at the back of my hair.
"Okay... if that's my baby wants. Don't take too long."
I went upstairs after making his soup. Maybe he wanted to stick to the design of his penthouse back then that's why he decided to keep it.
I felt the coldness seep through my skin from his aircon as I went inside. He's wearing a crew neck and cotton shorts.
His hair was damp. Maybe he took a shower while I'm cooking downstairs.
Maybe I'm the only one feeling this way because he's not the type of guy to feel nervous around somebody. He's Zavi Alexander Saavedra after all.
"I missed you." He suddenly whispered.
His arms wrapped around my waist. My breathing hitched because of his move. "I missed you so much, baby." He keeps on whispering behind my ear.
I held Zavi's arm and as if he knows what I'm thinking, he tightened his hold.
