It's been a couple days since I saw Faith in Chick-fil-a,and it's safe to say I will never be leaving the house again.
I don't want to see,think or hear about Payton,so if staying indoors for the next few months is what's needed then that's what I'm going to do.
As I'm sat in front of the tv, wrapped up in the blanket,eating popcorn I recieve a message,from Jaden.
Jaden hasn't spoken to me since the break up,most of the hype and sway kids stopped talking to me.I'd assumed that they hated me,so I just moved on,so seeing his name on my screen was a surprise.
Hey,Abi when you see this give me a call :)~Jaden
Staring at the phone I take a moment to re-read the message. This couldn't have anything to do with Payton.I bet they don't even know that he's back.
Leaping off the sofa I run round the house calling for the girls.Emmy comes out looking clearly annoyed.
"You woke me up,what is it?"
I shove the phone into her face,waiting for her to read the message.It takes her a while to read it,probably about 2 minutes.And by the time she's finished she's snatched my phone and called Jaden.
"What are you doing?" I whisper yell
"You need to speak to him" she tells me
Before I get the chance to answer her again I hear Jaden's voice on the other line.
"Hey Abi,we're having a movie night today.You and the girls are invited."
"Oh,cool.Wr haven't seen you guys in ages it should be fun" I answer casually
"Great.I'll see you later then" he says before hanging up the phone.
"So what is it?" Emmy asks staring at me impatiently
"He invited us all to sway."
Rolling her eyes she let's out a groan,as she throws her head back and walks off."I'm at work today I can't go"
Chuckling slightly I decide to go and get ready for the movie night,as well as telling Lara and Stella about it.

"Do you think Noah's gonna be there?"Lara asks as she makes a right turn
"I hope so" Stella snorts,"It's gonna be funny seeing you two back together."
"It's going to be awkward,as fuck!" Lara corrects
I sit in the back laughing at the two of them bickering.Emmy couldn't go since she has work,and Alex decided to go back to his home to surprise Lara's parents.
It doesn't take us long to get to the sway house,and when we arrive we are instantly greeted with the image of Bryce making a tiktok on the balcony.
Stepping out the car I wave up at him,he smiles waving back as I walk towards the front door.Cynthia opens the door with a smile,before welcoming us in.
"I haven't seen you guys in ages" she laughs giving us all hugs
"I'm going to be honest I never thought you and Quinton would last so long so it's a surprise seeing you here" Stella chuckles
I don't know whether Cynthia took that as a compliment or insult but she just kept smiling as she says,"At least we lasted longer that Payton and Abi"
She gives us one last smile before heading back upstairs to Quinton's room.Leaving us all stunned,our jaws dropped.
"She really did you like that,damn" Lara says before walking off and wandering into the house.
We follow her,as we walk around until we finally hear voices coming from the gaming room.
"Guess who's back!" Lara shouts bursting through the doors.
All the boys cheer as we walk in,each giving us hugs and the small compliment here and there.
"You girls look great." Noah smiles,"Hey Lara"
She smiles sweetly,"Hey"
It doesn't take long for Lara and Noah to be head over heels for each other and within seconds she's laughing at every word he says,unaware of the loving gazes he gives her as her eyes are tightly shut from laughter.
Stella decided to join in on the game of fortnite that the guys were playing and Jaden,Addison and I just stood in a corner talking.
"I've seen your modeling photos on the Brandy Melville websites they're so pretty" Addison gushes
"Thankyou" I smile,"I saw your wap dance,you killed it by the way.But I think your mom won the crown"
She let's out a small giggle,before leaving to go and find Avani.
"I heard your new song Pray.It's so good,I'm just loving your music" I tell Jaden
"Thanks dude,It means everything to me.I put my soul into my music do seeing it get the appreciation it deserves feels good" he tells me.
"You know who elses music us good?" He asks nudging me playfully.
"Who?" I ask completely oblivious
"Payton" Lara says loudly
My head shoots up at the mention of his name,following her gaze to the doorway where he's stood.
Just the person I wanted to see.
My heart ached as if it was shot a million times,I felt like I couldn't breathe.
His eyes were glued to mine,but not in the good way,they wouldn't leave mine as he stands there almost as if he was in a trance.
The tension in the room could be cut with a knife,everyone sits silently watching us as we stand face to face.
I don't know what to do,do I say hi,do I hug him?Theres so much I want to say,all I want to do is fall into his arms and tell him how much I missed him.
But I can't do that here,in front of everyone,speaking to him over the phone was way easier than this.This was awkward.I don't know what to say or do.
"I have some stuff to do"Josh says before leaving the room,Stella,Noah and Lara follow.
"Yeah,and I have to do stuff with him" Bryce follows taking his Nintendo switch with him
"I guess I'm going too" Jaden chuckles before leaving the room.
And then there were two.Just us.
I missed you.
Come on Abi it's not that hard,its literally just three words,you've said more meaningful things so why is this so hard to come out?
The room stays silent,neither one of us wanting to speak.Somebody kill me because that would be better than standing face to face, in silence,in a room with your ex.
Words can't seem to form,so I stand there helpless,looking like an idiot.Until he finally speaks.
"It's been a while Edwards"
