Payton's POV
If all goes to plan I should get a letter today,saying that Abi has accepted the deal.If she has,then I get to fly to LA.And honestly,I'm ready to get out of here,Millie ans Jackson are cool but I miss the guys back in LA,and Faith,she's been getting on my nerves.Lets just say she's more than mad about my breakup.
"Payton!" Mom shouts as she walks back in the house."There's some post here for you"
I quickly drop what I'm doing and rush downstairs to the entrance where she's holding a bunch of letters.
"Here you go,oh and this one is from LA" she says giving me a suggestive look.
Since Abi and I have broken up mom and Faith have been hinting that I should try win her back,and I would,if I wasn't such an asshole.But she deserves way better than me,stepping back is what she needs.
"Mom,I told you already.Abi hates me." That was far from the truth"Plus if she wanted to speak to me she would have just messaged me instead" I tell her taking up the letters
She gives me a small smile before saying,"why don't you reach out to her instead"
I already have.
"Yeah,maybe I will" I tell her as I take the letters upstairs to open.
The first one I open is the one sent from LA.My eyes stare into the paper reading it all.Abi said yes.She said yes.
A smile creeps it's way onto my face and I'm filled with excitement.My first reaction is to call Jackson and tell him."Dude she said yes.I can fly down to LA soon"
"I'm happy for you man." He laughs on the other line.
We continue talking for a while,whilst I open the rest of my letters,making sure that they're nothing too important.
"Watch out for millie.You have your date today" he laughs
"Don't remind me." I huff,"I tried to tell Abi but she wasn't even bothered.Dude she literally lied and said she had a boyfriend"
"If she lied then she's obviously bothered" he says
"Yeah,maybe she is.I know I have nothing to worry about though,she's obviously still into me." I say laying back on my bed
"Yeah.I gotta go now"
"Okay,bye Jackson"
I end the call checking the time,6pm.Shit.Millie said be ready for 8pm.That meant getting ready and cleaning out my car.
I quickly rush around the room trying to find something to wear.I settle on a white buttoned up shirt with my black jeans and some trainers.I quickly spray some cologne and rush downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Faith scoffs
"Uh...out"i say not wanting to tell her that I'm going on a date
She goes silent for a while but then speaks up,"you know when you go to LA,can I come?"
"No" I answer not bothering to turn to look at her
"Why not.I wanna meet your friends,and I could visit Abi-"
"Faith,I said no.I want to keep those two lives separate.My influencer and social life and my music and home life.Please just leave it"
She sighs giving me a small nod,I give her a greatful smile leaving out the house.
I quickly drive to get my car cleaned inside and out,making sure that all of Abi's things have been removed.
Just as I'm taking out the stuff from the car I find a small key ring with a photo of the two of us on a rollercoaster.Reminding me of the time I took her to the amusement park with some of the guys from sway.
"Payton,play this game with me"Abi says taking a hold of my hand and dragging me to the whack-a-mole game.
I watch as she speaks to the lady exchanging her money for a chance to play.She flashes her gorgeous smile as she takes the hammer from the woman's hands before taking another and handing one to me.
"Let's see who wins" she giggles
We both play the game,failing to hit the moles.I guess we were both pretty bad.Leaving the booth she takes my hand and intertwined them with hers,resting her head on my shoulder as we walk back to the guys.
"Look what Bryce won me!" Addison squeals holding a unicorn teddy almost half the size as her
"It's our child,named after us" Bryce says throwing his arm over Addison's shoulder
"What,braddison?" Abi scoffs
"Uh,yeah" Bryce says in a duh tone
"Let's go on that one"I say to Abi pointing to the biggest rollercoaster in the park
"Are you crazy.Payton that things a death sentence" she laughs
"Well if it is then at least I'll die with you by my side" I smirk bringing my face down to her cheek so that I can kiss it
"If you think I'm going on there you're sadly mistaken" she tells me letting go of my hand and walking over to Addison,"I'm staying here"
"Abigail,don't be such a pussy.Come on" I groan taking her hand and pulling her in the direction of the rollercoaster
She eventually gives in and were both being tucked into the rollercoaster.Her hand is attatched to mine,squeezing tightly.
"Payton if I die-"
"You won't die" I laugh
"Can I get a kiss for good luck" she smiles sweetly
"Of course" I tell her before planting a soft kiss on her cheeks
"Finally,you're late" she hisses though gritted teeth."She's in the kitchen."
I walk past her and into the house but she stops me half way,"you didn't bring flowers?"
"Was I supposed to?" I shrug
She let's out a frustrated sigh but signals for me to carry on.
Walking into the kitchen I see a girl standing looking out the window.Her hair sits perfectly as it curls naturally down to her waist.The white top she's wearing shows off her skin tone perfectly.
I clear my throat quickly,alerting her she instantly turns around with a gorgeous smile."You must be Payton"
"Yeah" I nod smiling back
She walks forward and holds out her hand for me to shake,"I'm Willow"
