We had to pick up Faith first,since she didnt want to be left alone again,so we we tqke her home with us.
I change into one of Payton's hoodies and some shorts and luckily for him I still had some of his clothes in my room from before our breakup so he had something more comfortable to change into.And once we were ready we took out place on the sofa.
Payton lay on his back and I laid on top of him,reating my head on his chest,my cheek and ear placed directly above his heart.Which was beating like crazy.Somethign about hearing it felt so comforting,knowing that his heart belonged to me.At least i hope it does.
"Ew pda" Emmy scoffs as she walks into the living room."why don't you do that in your room?"
"Because,the sofas better" Payton answers.
"They haven't had time to cuddle in like a year,they need to catch up"Faith ads as she joins Emmy in the kitchen.
"Yeah as long as it's where I dont have to see I'm fine" she mutters
"Emmy how are you going to cope in a relationship if you can't stand pda?" I ask
"I won't.Either that or I'll make it clear to only show affection when it's just me and the guy.Not that I'll find anyone"
"Why don't I help you find someone?" Faith suggests
"Only if I can find you a guy"
Faith agrees and the girls let out squeals of excitement before leaving.And just like that Payton and I were alone again.
"How long has it been since you bought yourself something nice?" Payton asks suddenly.
"Probably a month,why?"
"I'm taking you shopping tomorrow" he smiles kissing my forehead.
"Aww,you don't have to" I giggle
"No,I want to"
Time passes by,and Payton and I eventually fall asleep on the sofa,whilst watching 10 Things I Hate About You.
Our slumber is soon broken by the sound of the apartment door opening and the creeping footsteps,by the high pitched giggle I can tell that its Stella,and she's probably with Eli,since the two have been inseparable recently.
"I can't believe they said yes" Stella says,quite loudly which wakes Payton up.
Wanting to hear what they're talking about I put my hand over Payton's mmout to stop him from groaning, shushing him with the simple signal of my finger pressed to my lips.
"I knew they'd say yes" Eli answers back,"No one can say no to my princess"
Peeking over the sofa i watch as Eli wraps his arms around her waist and she does the same,snaling her hands around his neck.
"Does this mean we're serious,like probably getting married serious?" Stella asks smiling widely
"If that's what you want then yes"
"I don't know what I want yet.But being with you is my top priotiry" she says before pulling him into a kiss.
Naturally this is the part where I look away,burying my head into Payton's chest until I hear them talking again.
"How are we going to tell the girls?My sister's gonna flip!" Eli chuckles.
"We tell Abi first,then when Lara's next going to visit your parents we can go and break the news"
"Will they be mad?"
"Maybe,but it's what I want.They can't stop me"
That's the last thing I hear,my head slowly rises up and watches their shadowy figure disappear into the darkness.The faint locking sound of Stella's door was confirmation that they were far away and couldn't hear us.
