"As good as you look,I don't think that outfit is appropriate for our journey today" he laughs as we reach the lobby of the hotel.
"Why?" I question
"We're going into the jungle to have a day with nature"
"How zen" I snort,giggling.
"Oh it'll be great,trees,leaves,animals"
"A date?" I ask with a raised brow
"Maybe"
I laugh heading out of the lobby with Payton,we walk down to the meetup spot for the tour group,there are some other couples,but most of them are newly wedded.This does seem like the perfect place for a honeymoon,maybe even a location for a wedding.
I can't wait for the day I get married,I've dreamed about it since I was 5 years old.Walking down the isle in my dream dress,to my amazing husband to be.I want with my whole heart for that guy to be Payton,for us to build a life together,have a home,invite the girls for Christmas and Thanksgiving,eventually have kids.But you never know what can happen.
The tour guide takes us through the jungle,the tall trees shade us from the sun,and now I regret wearing such a short dress.The constant need to pull it down is getting very annoying,I should have worn shorts.
It's so incredibly warm,but the views are all worth it.We're all given the opportunity to take photos every now and then,before moving on.The animals seem so curious,especially the monkeys,who'd interact with us,tugging at our bags,playing with my hair.One of them stole one if the couple's cameras.
"This is so cool,I have to get some pictures for mom and dad" I giggle linking my hand in Payton's
"How are your parents?" He asks turning to face me
"They're good,I text them every now and then,but I really want to go down to see them for Christmas"
Christmas is coming soon,in about 3 months time.We hadn't made any official plans but me and Emmy had the idea to surprise our parents.Christmas is my favourite time of the year,the midnight church services,the carol singers,the gifts,family.I can't wait.
"Can I come along?" He asks with a raised brow.
"Of course.They absolutely adore you" I laugh
"Great" he smiles.
We spend the rest of the day exploring the jungle,eventually coming to a gorgeous waterfall.If only I knew we were going here,the water looked so inviting all I wanted to do was jump in.
Once we had an hour at the waterfall we delved deeper into the jungle eventually coming to an outdoor restaurant and cabin.
"Is this where we're staying" I ask in awe
"Yep" he smiles
"Wow"
We're immediately seated at the table,with started handed to us in handmade woven baskets.
"I still can't believe we're here" I tell him letting out a content sigh
"Me neither,who'd have thought one contract would have ended up with us in Bali"
"One contract,a song,a car crash,and a scandal as well as a break up" I correct
"Let's not talk about the bad parts" he laughs
"The bad parts make the good parts even better."
"Yeah I agree"
We spend the rest of the evening eating food,once we're done we are taken to our cabin for the night.It was built in the trees,and to be honest it didn't look stable.
"Payton I don't think that's going to handle our weight" I tell him nervously
"Are you calling me fat?" He asks
"No I'm saying it's a tree house thing,and these trees don't look so stable"
"Come on,stop being a chicken" he laughs
I shake my head no,"its not for me"
Rolling his eyes he walks after me,picking me up ans throwing me over his shoulder,I let out a loud squeal as he carrys me up the ladder and into the treehouse.
To my amazement our suitcases had been transferred,every moment of this holiday has been perfectly planned and it just shows how much effort Payton has put into this holiday.
The treehouse was amazing,with a bed in the centre of the room,there was a gift basket filled with face masks,bath bombs and other goodies.
"Uhm Payt where's the bathroom?" I ask him
"Yeah that's the catch"he laughs laying flat on the bed,"you're going to have to pee in a bush" he bursts out into a fit of laughter
"Payton!" I exclaim,"This isnt funny where do we shower?" I ask him in shock
"We put on our swimsuits,take the honey soap they gave us and we go shower in the waterfall.It's naturalistic, think of the environment"
"Fine,but I'm not peeing in a bush"
He laughs pulling me by the waitd down so that I'm laying besides him,"there are outhouses,you'll be okay"
"Good" I laugh turning to face him."thankyou for this trip" I say softly brushing back his hair
"You're welcome Abi" he laughs pulling me in for a kiss.
I kiss him back holding him closely against me,I love this boy,with my whole heart."Payton,I love you so so much", I whisper leaning in to plant small kisses around his cute little face.
"Stop" he laughs pushing me away,"I know you love me,you don't have to smother me in kisses though"
I put slightly,"but your just do cute all I want to do is kiss you"
He rolls his eyes,trying to hide his smile,"so what are we gonna do now?" He asks letting out a deep breath
"I have a couple ideas" I smirk,leaning in to kiss him,but this time with more force,the kiss lasts longer he wraps his hands around my waist,pulling ne onto his lap.
"I can't get enough of you" he mumbles through kisses
"Me neither" I smile back.
