KYLIE's POV

"Ky, anak.." I heard Mom knocked.

I stood up and wipe the tears by the palm of my hand. I opened the door.

"Yes Mom?"

"Anak, mag-ayos ka mamaya ha? We'll have important visitors" ngumiti si Mommy pero agad din itong nawala, "Nak, is there something wrong? You cried?"

Humalikipkip ako. "No. Sige na Mom, noted na po"

Lumabas na si Mommy at ako naman ay pinagpatuloy ang pagbabasa. I just cried because of this damn book. Looks like an idiot, right?

The book was entitled 'A Walk to Remember'. This book drives me crazy and cried a tons of tears. I don't care if a twenty-two year old lady reads this kind of stuff. Maybe because I can relate to the story?

"Everyone has things in their past they wish they could change"- Nicholas Sparks

Agad 'kong sinara ang libro. My heart was thumping rapidly. I stood up at lumabas. Pumunta ako sa kusina since I'm really hungry. It's not yet lunch pa kasi.

"Hmm. Ang daming food" complaint ko. Marami kasing naka-hain. Inisa-isa pa nilabas ng mga katulong. Well, maybe baka isang business partners ang visitor namin.

"Saan niyo po 'yan dadalhin?" tanong ko sa katulong. Ilalabas niya sana 'yung shrimp something na dish.

"Sa garden ho maam"

Susundan ko sana 'yung maid pero someone caught me.

"Ate Kylieee!" isang bata ang papalapit sa'kin. I hugged her tightly.

"Lauree?!" I hugger her much tighter, "Ghad! I've missed you! Ang laki mo na! You also get prettier!"

Kumalas na kami sa yakap. Lauree is here. Ang laki niya na. My baby is really now a lady.

"Thanks po, Ate Kylie. Na-miss rin po kita"

"Why are you here nga pala? Are you one of my visitors huh?" I asked her and we both giggled. Hinila niya ako sa salas namin. And there, nagulat ako.

"Tita Vien?! Tito Lawrence?!" gulat kong sabi. They're here. Luke's family is really here.

"Good to see you again, hija. Na-miss kita" sabi ni Tita Vien habang bumebeso kami.

"What are you doing po here?" I asked them.

Mommy answered my question instead, "Anak, they're are my friend. Actually, bestfriend ko sila noon pa. T'saka, sila ang great business partners natin."

Teka, hindi ko ata alam 'to? Sabagay, I'm not into their business worlds.

"Oo nga, Kylie. Masanay ka na kapag nandito kami palagi. Parang noon pa rin?" nakangiting sabi ni Tita Vien.

"Ah, opo." I answered.

"Let's go. Let's have lunch na?" yaya ni Mom kaya nauna na akong lumakad papunta sa garden.

"Sorry. Got stuck to the traffic"

I froze of that voice. I don't need to turn my neck to him, because I know that voice. Nandito naman siya, eh, halata na. Nauna na akong maglakad.

---

"So, balita ko may project daw kayo?" tanong ni Tita sa'min.

I'm eating my lunch and same as them. Nakakayamot at katapat ko pa siya. But I don't mind him or bother to throw a glare to him. I don't effin' care.
