The sun rays penetrated through the small window frame, signaling the setting of the sun. Team's face was glowing red as the older looked at his heavenly face, his beauty magnified as a result of the golden hour that blessed them once in a day for a few minutes. Both of their legs were tangled on the bed as they enjoyed each other's embrace. Team's eyes were closed as he relished the feeling of sweet exhaustion of the day focusing all his attention on the touch of Win's hand on his bare stomach under his shirt.
When he opened his eyes, Win was already looking at him. Win's hair seemed more red than blonde with the sun on his face. His sudden intuition told him to run his fingers through Win's hair and so he obliged.
"I like your hair." Team spoke, not realizing how shaky his voice sounded as he continued to trace his fingers through his hair.
"I like you," Win spoke in response as he enjoyed the feeling of his hand in his hair and the joy in his heart.
"I already know that," Team spoke as his hand left Win's hair only for Win to put his hand back in his hair.
"Tell me something about yourself." Win asked Team, eager to know more about him.
"Like what?"
"Like anything."
"Okay, so when I was young, I used to be obsessed with space. I wanted to know everything about the universe- moon, stars, planets, the sun, galaxies, black holes and all that stuff. I even had those star shaped stickers on my ceiling that glowed in the dark. Actually, my room back at home still has those."
"That is so cute. My baby is so cute."
"I am not a baby."
"You are not a baby but you are my baby." Team couldn't help but agree, not that he would actually say that to Win.
"Tell me something about yourself that no one knows." Team inquired as he sat up to look at his hia more clearly.
"I have two siblings. I am the middle child so I always had to sacrifice for my other two siblings. When I was in high school, my parents stopped paying attention to me. No matter what I did, they didn't care about me. They were always either interested in my older sibling or my younger sibling. So, I did things to get their attention.""What things?"
"Like getting into fights and stuff. My dad was called to my school and that is when he actually paid some attention to me. I got tattoos, piercings and dyed my hair so that they would finally see me but after a while no matter how much trouble I caused; they just didn't care. That is when I realized that it's not worth the trouble. I started working hard at school and I started enjoying swimming. I got into a good college and rented an apartment here so I could live near my friends who actually gave two fucks about me."
"But your siblings like you, right?"
"They do but they are closer to each other. I feel like no one has ever liked me for me. I don't even know who I am."
"I like you for who you are. I have always thought that you are amazing and I really want to be more like you. Like, have you looked at how cool you are?"
"You are amazing." Win said as he hugged his baby pulling him as close to his body as he could. Win felt half excited and half relaxed as he heard the beating of Team's chest reminding him that Team was as human as he was but so much more than him. Win could feel himself getting sleepy and for once, he didn't have a problem with letting his guard down.
