7 days after Team left

Win was almost certainly sure that he was being pathetic. He had not gotten out of the bed since morning and was currently scrolling through his texts waiting for a certain someone to text him.

It had been a week since Team left which meant he would be back in three days. They were texting constantly and even then; Win couldn't help but feel uneasy. He didn't even know why he was being like that.

On top of that, he was pretty sure he was in love with his boyfriend which was something that should have bothered him before but now, it was the only thing keeping him warm. Love wasn't such a complicated emotion anymore but at the same time, it was difficult to pinpoint what it exactly meant.

Love wasn't a word anymore. It was a feeling. Love was the feeling when Win had Team in his arms and he could feel his steady breathing and feel his chest rising up and down with every breath he took. Love was the feeling when sometimes Win heard Team talking to himself in the shower. Love was the feeling when once, Win bent down to tie Team's shoelaces and when he looked up, Team was looking down at him with sparkling eyes. Love was the feeling when they were in the pool asking Dean to time them but instead got lost and tangled into each other and the water and forgetting everything about everyone. Love was the feeling when nothing else mattered except for the person sleeping by your side.

When you fall in love, you just know it is love. There was no other name for the feeling you have when your partner had red sauce dripping all over their face and you still found them attractive.

Love wasn't even an emotion anymore; it was a feeling and Win relished in the feeling. However, he was starting to miss the younger a little too much and hence, he decided to binge watch his favorite show eating ice cream in a pair of really old sweatpants.

It was really a Team thing to do but Win was using the younger boy's coping mechanism not only because it felt good but also because he felt closer to the boy.

Love was about change and becoming more like the person you love.

3 days later:

Win had been twisting and turning in his bed for all night and it was finally morning. The older boy hadn't gotten much sleep night and the reason was that he was worried. Team hadn't texted him back even after seeing his texts and Win knew more than anyone else to not overreact but he couldn't help but feel a little skeptical of the situation. Team finally coming back would clear some things up but for now, Win was tense. Originally, he was supposed to pick the boy up from the airport but Team hadn't replied to any of his texts or pick up his calls so Win just waited for some news from the younger boy.

Team was also acting a bit weird. When he accused Win of allegedly cheating on him, Win was really hurt but he understood now what he didn't understand before. Team was insecure about a lot of things and only love and affection could make him feel secure and confident, both about himself and about their relationship.

After contemplating for quite some time, he decided to call Pharm who picked his phone after five rings. There was some commotion in the background and just then, he remembered that Dean and Pharm were having lunch with their families. Win felt sorry for disturbing Pharm but still continued to go on about his little problem.

"Hey. I am sorry to disturb you but I wanted to ask you something."

"It is alright, P'Win. Just hurry up because P'Dean is glaring at me right now." Pharm chuckled as he heard Dean's faint voice.

"Um.... When was the last time you talked to Team?"

"I talked to him yesterday. He didn't speak much actually. I called him and after two minutes, he said he had something important to do and disconnected the call."

"Thanks Pharm."

"Wait. Did something happen to him?"

"No. Everything is fine. You don't have to worry. I will talk to you later. Bye." Win immediately disconnected the call as he threw his head back on the bed and sighed.

Nothing was out of normal. Everything was fine. Win was just hyperventilating. That was how Win was. He was overthinking out of habit. However, something just felt off about the whole situation and even the more rational side of him couldn't help but be a bit anxious.

Just when he was about to call Team once again, he heard someone knock on his door.
