Gumbo

Kim's P.O.V.

Gosh! Buti na'lang talaga I escaped from that cheap practice. Ew. I won't do dancing again. Like duh?

I remembered when I danced for the last time. It.. hurt me a lot.

I bite my lower lip and shook my head before changing my clothes from uniform to white off-shoulder top that exposing my abdomen that I partnered with my maong mini skirt. I put my hair into messy bun with some strands of my hair felt free. I put a light make-up and accessories. I also wore a white doll shoes with three inches heels.

I smiled a bit infront of the mirror before heading to the kitchen in Kae's apartment. Now, I can cook.

When I saw that there's no sausages for my chicken and sausage gumbo. Ohmygosh. There's no sausage na?! Ohmygosh!

"My gosh naman, e! I'm not prepared for this! Ugh. I hate Francine Kae." I flipped my hair irratately before I went inside Kae's room to get my wallet.

I just walked to go to bayan because it's just near lang naman. I went inside the Alfamart to search sausages. I'm pouting the whole time when suddenly someone pulled me and pointing some sharp thing on my neck. Ohmygosh!

"Hold up, 'to!" The guy yelled while pointing a knife on my neck. Omg, omg. Mommy!

"L-Let me go, please." I said silently while preventing myself from crying. "Let me go."

"Tumahimik ka!" Sigaw niya to me while his eyes were nanlilisik sa'kin.

I held his arm that was encircled on my neck when he tightened his grip on me. I opened my mouth to breathe properly when my chest suddenly felt stabbed even though he was still just pointng a knife on my neck.

My tears dropped as I closed my eyes while praying for my life. Please. Save me. I don't want to die yet. My sister.. my sister still needs me. She needs me right now. Please.. save me.

"Hala gago!"

"Itaas niyo ang mga kamay niyo!" The holdaper commanded.

I opened my eyes and saw Kae's classmates looking at me worriedly. Two girls and three boys.

"H-Help me.. please." I begged while starting to cry when I felt a liquid went down coming from my neck. He.. he gave me scar!

"Putangina. Kae!" The guy shouted before looking around while biting his lower lip.

I just swallowed hard that made my neck felt more pain as I closed my eyes while remembering my sister. She still needs me. My sister needs me, please. Kae needs me.

"Kim, I can help you go home." Grandy said that made my eyes twinkled.

"Really?!" I asked excitedly.

OMG! I can finally go home na! I can go in Philippines na! OMG! OMG!

"But your father won't allow you."

Natigilan ako dahil sa sinabi ni Grandy sa akin. I looked at my laptop's screen before biting my lower lip.

"Right. Daddy won't allow me to go home." I whispered silently.

Daddy didn't want me to go home. He said France is my new home na. Not the Philippines anymore. But for me, it's still Phillipines that's my home. It always the Philippines for me. It's my mom last place. She born and died there. It's my home.
