"she sleeping?" i asked seeing pop walk out my guest bedroom where he laid Kayla to go to sleep since it was pretty late.
"finally" i chuckled. "thank you for lettin' us stay" he sighed.
"i know how hard it is to not have anywhere to go, pop. seriously, it's okay" i turned to him after finishing washing dishes.
"you tired?" he asked leaning against the counter.
"kinda. why?"
"ion know. i wanna hangout wit you without my daughter bein' around" he explained.
"we can go watch a movie" i shrugged.
"upstairs orrr"
"down here" i laughed shaking my head.
"kay gon' hear it and wake up" he put his hands up. "i'm just suggesting that we should go upstairs"
"fine but don't try anything" i said before making my way to the stairs.
once we got settled in my bed, i turned the tv on but the volume a low since i still didn't wanna take the chance of waking her up.
