"pop let go" i sighed as he pulled me closer to him keeping his eyes shut.
last night, i came back home. this situations hard cause we have kids together.. i can't just leave him like i would if we didn't.
but once i got in bed, he wouldn't let me go.
it made me cry last night.. the way he held me like he didn't wanna lose me it- it felt so different then how he usually does.
so yes, i cried in his arms and he comforted me. yes i let him do it too because i didn't feel like even fighting back.
i was so tired i just wanted to sleep.
"pop-"
"Ny the kids ain't even up yet. quit" i sighed getting comfortable knowing i wouldn't be getting out of his arms anytime soon.
"i have to go make something for them" i stared down at my promise ring. "pop why did you do it? why did you kiss another girl" i looked up at him as he finally opened his eyes.
"i don't know, Ny" he sighed. "it was stupid and ima keep telling you i'm sorry, baby. i swear-"
"i gotta go make breakfast" i said lowly as i got out of bed and making my way into the bathroom to brush my teeth and shit.

after getting myself together, i went downstairs and heard laughing making me furrow my eyebrows.
"dada down!" Kai giggled as pop spun him around and laughed with him which made me smile.
the way they look at eachother makes me so happy..
like so fucking happy.
"hm! ma!" she pointed towards me making pop turn his head and smile.
"you look-"
i just walked past him. not letting him even get the chance to finish his sentence.
"mama!" Kai whined running after me. "up!" he tugged on my shirt.
"hey, pook" i sighed picking him up. "Look at these curls" i smiled running my fingers through them as he smiled.
