Jealous

"Ang aga mo ngayon ah?" tanong ni Ate pagkapasok ko sa salas.

I slammed myself on the couch and grab the TV's remote control placed on the center table then lazily bore my eyes to my sister who's just seating beside me with Gab in her arms.

"May saltik si Genesis," tanging sagot ko at lumingon na sa tv screen.

"Anong ginawa mo?"

My brows knitted but my eyes remained on the screen.

"Excuse me? Why me Ate?"

"Ikaw lang naman ang nagpapa badtrip doon, eh."

I chuckled humorlessly as I look at her side. "How dare you Ate! He's the one who insulted my taste when it comes to boys nga e!"

Tumaas ang kilay niya. "Hindi ba?"

"Ugh! I hate you!"

I glared at her but she didn't back down even in a tiniest bit, instead she glare at me too.

"Kayo pa ba ni Landen? Kasi kung oo, ibig sabihin pinagsasabay mo sila ni Genesis. Kakalbuhin kita," she warned.

Ate Ada's a bit scary with those glaring eyes and almost flaring nose so I had the urge to tell her some facts but then, Landen's words came to my mind. Right, I should just shut my mouth about it.

"Yes kami pa ni Landen and no hindi ko sila pinagsasabay! Duh! There's nothing going on between me and Genesis," I explained but it felt like she's not buying it.

Napairap na lang ako sa kawalan. My sister's hobby is speculating things that are beyond the truth. How could I even date Genesis, he's very strict and hot-headed.

"Anyways, last night in the sagala I met Danshel."

"Danshel?"

I rolled my eyes due to dismay na hindi niya maalala si Danshel. I used to bring him in our house kaya and she used to praise him for his gorgeous look.

"Soliven! My long time boyfriend when I was in grade 8!"

"Ah," she then nod. "Tanda ko na."

"He's living here too, Ate! How come you didn't bumped to each other in the past years?"

"Hindi naman ako pala-labas na tao. "

Ever since na tumira talaga dito si Ate I felt the age gap in between us.

"Two years is not a joke. He's actually asking me out sometime so we could catch up."

Before she could even talk again ay tumunog na ang phone ko.

"Speaking of the gorgeous devil, Ate..." I announced then answered his call. I put my phone near my ear as I waited for him to talk first.

"Is this really your number Eula?"

"Yes, ofcourse. Why would I even fake my number?" I chuckled.

"Yeah, right. I just wanna ask if you're free today? It's hot today, you want to chill?"

There are people who really never change even after years huh.

"It would be my pleasure, Danshel. But may I know where are we heading to?"
