ForgivenessA day after my vacation ay bumalik na rin ako sa trabaho coz honestly I don't want to be worked up with remembering what happened there. I want to forget it.
The next day after our confrontation ay nag check-out na rin ako sa resort. I didn't even had the chance to say goodbye to Rey properly. That's so rude of me. Pero anong magagawa ko, I can't bear staying there after knowing that Genesis, one of the reason why I'm suffering is also there.
We're not exactly close friends but she's Landen's girlfriend and I like her too so I'm fine with her.
"I went to beach, that's why." I almost roll my eyes sa sobrang pagka bored sa pagsagot sa kanya.
"Hoy ang taray naman nito! Time of the month mo ba?" She asked while pouting. "Anyways I have pasalubong. She then showed me the paperbags she's holding.
"You don't really have to buy me things like this but I really appreciated it," ani ko at sinilip ang mga laman non. There were four paperbags in total and two of them are luxury brand.
"I think this will look good on you," aniya at inilabas ang isang red beret at ipinatong sa ulo ko.
I just chuckled and check out other stuffs. There were tops, perfume and belts. Akala ko ay hanggang doon na lang 'yon since it's already enough for me but she gave me another smaller paperbag.
"This will put a lot of burden on you, Eula. I told you I'll just hire someone to do these jobs."
"I'm fine with it Landen," pinal kong sagot sa kanya.
He'll be missing in action for few weeks since sasamahan niya sa pag-uwi sa Mindoro si Hazel and didiretso silang Palawan for some sort of birthday celebration ng Papa ni Hazel. Sinasama nga nila ako but I have a lot on my schedule and ayokong mag thirdwheel.
"I'm really sorry," he said apologetically.
"I told you I'm fine with it. So kulit. You're always the one handling our cafe and now is my time. It's okay that we take turns you know. Sige na, enjoy your vacation," I simply said. "Hazel wag mong padadapuan sa insekto, maarte 'to."
We both chuckled but Landen just made face.
I just have to supervise, then do the talking if ever there's a complain from customers which is a very rare case in our cafe since we do really value our service then audit our daily income.
