Smile

That's childish.

The corner of my lips rose. I didn't even bother to suppressed my slight chuckle. Genesis on the other hand just rolled his eyes at them and frown a bit. That's what you get from being nosy.

"Lalie! Bakit ang dumi mo?" gulat na tanong ni ate mula sa tindahan.

Hindi na ako sumagot. It's not my thing to explain what happened in front of not-so-many audience.

Jhaylo waved at me so I had to smile at her before getting inside our house. I literally clean every part of my body. It took almost an hour before I was done taking a bath. Duh, I was soak in mud and in that river. I need to make sure na malinis ako at walang natirang germs! I can't afford to have a skin disease 'no.

After doing my things ay bumaba na ako para hanapin si ate. She do the laundry so I'm going to ask her to wash my gym clothes immediately. If it wasn't Genesis' fault hindi naman magkakaganito ang mga damit ko.

"Ate!" I called habang naglalakad papasok ng tindahan niya.

I heard chatterings so I halted a bit. Then it gets quiet so I walked inside na. I saw ate talking to bukid squad who's just outside, while sitting on her recliner.

So they're still here? They look like a typical tambay with softdrinks beside them and some chips.

"Ang tagal mo namang maligo," commented by Genesis who's with them na pala.

He looked fresh with his now changed outfit, a blue raglan shirt and I guess black sweat short? I'm not really sure. He suddenly pushed back his damp and dishevelled hair while sporting his crooked smile. Feeling gwapo. Eww.

"That's because I really wash myself."

"Anong pinapalabas mo? Naligo rin naman ako ng ayos!"

His friends chuckled. Since I have nothing to say, I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Enjoy ka?" she asked.

I make face. "Paano ako mag-eenjoy? I requested for gym not gubat adventure."

Pinanlisikan ako ng mata ni ate but I could care less. Dinig ko naman ang tawa ni Genesis.

"Selfish 'to hindi man lang nang-aya," slurred by Jhaylo.

"'Wag tularan," iiling-iling na sabi naman ni Reinier.

But at some point, I'm thankful, just a bit that I had a chance to see the wonderful sceneries. Then nasubukan ko rin ang sarap ng suman and yung coffee doon.

"Saan ang lakad niyo ngayong bakasyon? Mag-a-out of the town kayong magkakaibigan?" baling ni ate sa kanila.

I sat on the free chair beside my sister and just listen to their conversation.

My eyes suddenly darted on Genesis who raised a brow and pouted a bit, like he's stopping himself from smiling. I grimaced at him. Feeling cute.

"Wala pa kaming maisip ate. Kayo ba?" si Jhaylo.

"Gusto ni Daniel sa Calatagan, inaantay na lang namin 'yong leave niya. At nag-aantay na rin ng makakasama dahil malungkot naman kung kaunti lang kami."

"Sama kami 'te!" they said in chorus.

What the hell?! Kasama namin sila? Ugh. I want to get away from this bukid tapos sasama naman ang mga asungot na 'to?! Just, ugh! Nakakainis! Ito namang si ate aya ng aya!
