Jogging"What? Tatanga ka na lang diyan?" mataray kong bungad.
Genesis stood up and face me with a frown on his face. He rub his chin as he surveyed my whole being.
I did the same to him. Mukha naman siyang tao sa suot niya. It's just a plain black muscle tee and trainee shorts paired with his nike running shoes. His muscled arms are notable, siyempre sleeveless ang suot niya! Duh.
My eyes went down and darted on his veiny arms. I don't like it. By just looking at it, feeling ko ay katas ng kabalugaan.
"Are you going to gawk at me the whole day?"
The side of his lips rose. "Ibang klase. Ano ba 'yang suot mo? Tititigan ka lang ng makakasalubong natin, e."
I look at my outfit. Inside my nike jacket is my jungle print versace sports bra and boyleg. There's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing! Dapat ba ay long skirt or pants? No way.
"You know what? Stop being pakialamero, no one asked for your opinion."
"Eula! Ano ba 'yan!" hindi ko namalayan na nandoon na pala si ate sa tindahan niya. I rolled my eyes at her. "Genesis, ikaw na ang bahala diyan ha? Kapag ayaw umayos ay iwanan mo na."
"Ate!"
"Hindi ko ugaling mang-iwan ate e. Itutulak ko na lang, baka sa'kin pa ma-fall," he said mischievously.
My eyebrows knitted. It sounds familiar!
Before I could even slam his annoying face in our wall he walked out from the gate and started to jog. Sumunod na lang ako sa kanya. My brow start to shot up when I saw him push his hair back repeatedly habang palingon-lingon sa'kin. Akala niya naman kinagwapo niya!
As far as I could remember, ang dinadaan namin ngayon ay kapareho ng dinaanan namin noong pumunta kami sa palengke. Or maybe not... bigla na lang siyang tumigil sa isang kanto. He jerked his head as if asking me to follow him there. I frown at him but still oblige.
The street was narrow, it was surrounded by a concrete wall and from here, I can hear some noise of a bouncing ball, probably basketball.
Palagi kasi diyang may naglalaro ng basketball," he smiled, causing his dimples to be visible. "Dalhin kita diyan kapag may laro ako."
"As if gusto kong pumunta diyan and manood ng laro mo. Feelingero," I snorted and walk past him. Humabol din naman agad siya.
"Bakit ba ang taray mo sa'kin? Anong ginawa ko sayo?"
"Really? You're asking me that? There are thousand reasons and I'm not stupid to enumerate them all. To sum it up, I hate everything about you."
He suddenly pursed his lips and slowed down his pace. Maging ako ay napabagal na rin. Aba!
I could clearly see how the yellow-green grasses around the field dance as the gentle breeze give them the beat. The sound of their murmurs were like music to my ears. Honestly, it was peaceful. It gives me peace of mind as if it's my new meditation.
