The fading of the sunlight had also meant the fading of the heat. Cold air swirled around the forest taking every lick of warmth it could. Clarke wrapped her arms tighter around herself, pulling her jacket closed. "We should light a fire, its freezing cold out here," said Bellamy.
"You dont have to stop for me Bellamy, I can handle the cold," protested Clarke. Bellamy chuckled at her statement which made Clarke burst into a giggle. " Im not stopping for you Clarke, its dark and cold, and we need rest before we can carry on" said Bellamy.

"Oh," said Clarke while hiding her face in her hands, clearly embarrassed.

" Though, Id stop for you too, you need rest Griffin," said Bellamy with a genuine smile, something Clarke hadnt seen in  a while.

They'd been staring at the fire in silence. Its the one thing Bellamy loved about being with Clarke. He could be with her in complete silence and still not feel any  awkwardness between them.

"A while ago the sky was filled with hues of red, orange and pink, but now all color has faded away leaving only this matt black canvas with few stars for us to watch." said Clarke. Bellamy didnt respond to Clarke's observation instead only stared at her.

" Please stop staring, you're making me really uncomfortable," said Clarke while playing with her hair. Bellamy smiled and focused on the fire infront of them. "You're really beautiful, now I know why Finn is always ogling at you,". Clarke was speechless.

Bellamy thinks Im beautiful. Wait. Finn ?? "What do you mean Finn is always ogling me?" questioned Clarke.

" You don't see it, do you??" said Bellamy clearly enjoying himself with how uncomfortable Clarke had become.

"See what ex——," Clarke was cut mid- sentence and they both turned to face where the sound came from. Bellamy quickly stood up and aimed his gun where the sound came from," Your hands on your head now," said Bellamy to a guy who from his appearance meant he was a grounder.

                           •————–—•
The grounder was on the ground with warm blood gushing out of the exposed wound that he'd gotten from a blow of Bellamy's gun's butt. He pressed snugly against his opened wound to stop the free flowing surge of sticky blood. " Who are you?" demanded Bellamy veins popping out.

The grounder remained silent, the only sound coming from his groans of pain.
"Maybe he doesn't speak English," suggested Clarke who was surveying the stranger sympathetically. " Lets try sign language," said Clarke. " Keep watch, while I try to interrogate him,"

Bellamy wanted to protest but he understood Clarke, him nearby won't get the stranger to talk. " Okay," said Bellamy and took some steps back.
