" What do you mean they're missing? They are supposed to be here setting camp, waiting for us?" said Clarke frantically.
" Well, they're not here Clarke, we think the grounders took them." said Raven.
" I don't think they did. Considering their commander gave us two days to leave their territory. Which only leaves one option." Said Bellamy while staring at Clarke.
The realization of their people being taken by the mountain men hit Clarke hard and her legs lost the strength to hold her body. She fell to the ground and immediately her friends rushed to her side.
" Clarke, are you okay?" said Bellamy eyes filled with worry.
" We have to get them back," said Clarke voice breaking.
" Hey, we will okay. We will." Bellamy assured her. He'd never expected to see Clarke this broken. It tore his insides. Clarke was excited to see her mother and now there is a chance she might never see her again. If the intel Lincoln gave them was true then their people were in big trouble.
" Guys we need to work fast here," began Bellamy. " Lincoln has told us about the mountain men and how dangerous they can be ." Octavia smiled at the mention of Lincoln. Bellamy never called Lincoln by his name and this meant alot to her.
" Who are the mountain men?" Questioned Murphy. " You mean the grounders and this mountain men are two set of different groups of people?"
" Exactly, and the mountain men are even more dangerous and I bet they are the ones who took our people."
" So what do we do now?" asked Wells who was sitting beside Clarke comforting her.
" Clarke, we need to speak to the commander again. She will probably hear us out this time. If we promise to get rid of the mountain men maybe she'll let us stay." said Bellamy. Clarke only nodded at this. She couldn't find her voice.
"Guys, if these mountain men are so dangerous, why don't we just leave the territory? Find somewhere else safe, start over." asked Monty who had been quiet the whole time.
" We can't live like that Monty. This is our home now and if we don't fight for it now. We'll always be on the move." argued Octavia.
"My sister is right. This is our home now and we fight for it." Said Bellamy pride filled in his voice.

The black before him had a velvet quality, like the air had been thickened somehow. Without an upwards glance Bellamy knew it was star speckled and cloudless."Quite magnificent, isn't it?" questioned Clarke pulling Bellamy out of his thoughts.
" What is?" Said Bellamy.
" Nature, the earth, everything about it is just magnificent. Sometimes I wish I lived here before the apocalypse." Said Clarke her voice dreamy. Bellamy stared at her. A while ago Clarke couldn't speak and now it's like nothing ever happened.
" You don't have to act like you're okay y'know," said Bellamy hoping Clarke would open up to him. " I know what's like to lose a mother."
" My mother is fine Bell, and I'll see her soon." said Clarke curtly. Immeadiately Clarke felt guilty for being rude. She understood that Bellamy was only being supportive. " Im sorry Bell, Im just stressed. I miss my mother so much. She's the only family Ive got and.....and," Clarke completely broke infront of Bellamy and began sobbing. Instinctively, Bellamy took Clarke in his embrace and wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close, gently rubbing her arm.
Despite the heaviness in her stomach, it fluttered at the feeling of her body pressed against his. She sunk into warmth of his side, appreciative of the simple gesture. His touch calmed her which made her feel guilty. At this moment she was supposed to be worried sick about her mother but she didn't want to. At this moment, she just wanted to feel Bellamy.
Her thoughts ran back to awhile ago when they kissed. It was the best feeling. She'd do anything to feel that way again. Without another thought, Clarke brushed her lips against Bellamy's. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. She wanted to pull away before losing herself but she couldn't seem to. In that minty moment, she couldnt think straight. " Clarke," Bellamy slowly whispered, prolonging each letter as if to savor them. Clarke smiles, her heart fluttering at his voice as she clasp her hands on either side of his face.
After a brief moment their lips parted only for Clarke to move her head closer to Bellamy's once more. Bellamy froze from excitement. She leans in, so her forehead rests against his. They both close their eyes. Both their breaths are shaking. " Thank you," Clarke says in barely more than a whisper.
" For what?" He replies, his voice low and husky.
" For being there for me, in your own weird way." Her voice wavers, exhilarated from the tension between them. Clarke gently leans in and kisses Bellamy's warm lips. They pull apart and take shallow breaths. Unable to control themselves anymore, Bellamy holds Clarke's head in his hands and pulls her into a fiery passionate kiss. Her hands work their way around his body, feeling each crevasse, each line along his physique. They pull apart and open their eyes. They stare at each other, deep into each other's eyes. No words are spoken but they both know what their bodies yearn for.
Bellamy leans in and softly kisses up and down Clarke's neck. She lets out little whimpers of anticipation. Bellamy works his ways to her tender, smooth lips.
They were outside but neither cared. At that moment, all they wanted was to feel each other. They undressed quickly, Clarke climbed onto Bellamy's lap and they jostled a bit until he was inside her, and then they just sat there like that for a while, mouths together, chest to chest, not moving, except for their breath. She stopped kissing him and spit in her hand, then reached down in between them, making a serious face. Then she began to move against him, and gripped him harder. Bellamy took her in his arms and pushed her onto her back as her breathing raced and she put her nails into his chest and he brushed back the hair from her eyes.
Later, they both laid on the ground and admired the stars ready to face the next day filled with challenges that came with this maginificent place called earth.
