So I was talking to Jake about how everything is so much more stressful in middles school and stuff and I'm like, "I just hate homework... Everything is boring, the teachers don't try anymore."
And then Jake said, "You shouldn't assume things like that."
Me: "Why not? It's not like they care anyways."
Jake: "You know what they say about assuming right?"
Me: "What?"
Jake: "It makes an ass out of you and me."
