"Seatmates"
Momo thoughtfully walks back to her room, replaying Shoto's words over and over again in her head.
(Shoto: You're the one that I have a crush on, Yaoyorozu.)
Momo: Agh! Get it together, Momo! He probably meant that in a platonic way if he doesn't even know what romance is!
Th- Then again... what if what he said was genuine? Does Todoroki really feel that way about me...?
Of course not, Momo! He's your friend, and yes, he's attractive, and he's a dork, and he has the cutest smile, and-
Wait, why am I saying these things out loud?! Besides, T- Todoroki probably doesn't feel that way anyways, so-
*CRASH*
Thunder suddenly strikes, and the rain becomes even harder. Momo suddenly jumps at the sudden thunder strike.
Momo: Anyway, I should probably apologize to Todoroki for acting awkward earlier.
???: It's okay, Yaoyorozu...
Momo suddenly jumps again and looks behind her to see Shoto standing there in the dark.
Momo: To- Todoroki, you scared me!
Shoto: O- Oh, I apologize. I'll be on my way then if you don't-
Momo: N- No, I want you to stay-!
Shoto: What-
Momo: I m- mean, you should stay...! I mean I wanted to ask-... Do you actually have a crush on me?!
Momo quickly covers her mouth in embarrassment. Shoto, still confused as ever, walks towards her.
Shoto: Yaoyorozu, if you aren't feeling well, there's a pressure point on the back heel of your left foot that you can press-
Momo: Th- That's not it, Todoroki...
Shoto: Then what's wrong? Are you sick? I can probably make an ice pack if you can make a bag.
Momo: *Sigh* Nevermind... I can't think straight tonight for some reason.., I just need to sleep is all, so don't worry about me, Todoroki.
Shoto: Is that so...? Well, okay then, Good night.
Momo gives Shoto a weak smile and heads for the door knob.
Shoto: If you ever need to talk to someone, you can always come to me. I really care about you, Yaoyorozu, and I want to be able to help you in any way I can.
Momo pauses for a moment, then quickly enters her room. Shoto glances in confusion for a few seconds, but eventually proceeds to head for his room.
...
The Next Morning...
The rain continues to fall, albeit lighter than yesterday night. The students of Class 1-A have just finished breakfast, and are all sitting around and hanging out in the living room.
Shoto is sitting on the couch alone, using his phone. From afar, Momo sits on a table, staring at Shoto, continuously blushing.
Momo: (*Sigh* Why can't I stop thinking about him...?)
Ochaco: Um... Yao-momo?
Momo is taken by surprise, and suddenly jolts up.
Momo: Y- Yes, Ochaco?
Ochaco: Oh, it's nothing really, You just look really tired, and you're... blushing?
Kyoka: Blushing...?
