Eri and Kota continue conversing on the couch. They've been at it for an hour or so — topics mostly about kid stuff. The kind of subjects that Eri would never be even talking about in the first place if she weren't saved by the two, noble heroes: Deku and Lemillion.

Of course, justice isn't without sacrifice. Eri was rescued at the grave price of Mirio's mentor, teacher and friend, Mirai Sasaki — Hero Name: Sir Nighteye.

As Mirio looks at Eri from afar having a genuine conversation, with the biggest smile on her face, he begins remembering the pain and hardships everyone had been through all to see this little girl smile.

(Months Earlier...)

(*Pant* *Pant* *Pant*)

(Izuku runs into the emergency room in the hospital along with Aizawa. There, he sees All Might, Recovery Girl, and the members of the Nighteye Agency: Kaoruka Awata — Hero Name: Bubble Girl, and Juzo Moashi — Hero Name: Centipeder.)

(Bubble Girl looks towards Izuku with tears in her eyes. All Might does the same with genuine concern in his expression.)

(Izuku: All Might... and Recovery Girl!)

(A surgeon gives the heartbreaking news to everyone as Bubble Girl continues weeping alongside Centipeder who is desperately attempting to console her.)

(Surgeon: There's nothing else that could be done. Honestly, it's a miracle that he's even still alive. Unfortunately, I don't think he will live to see tomorrow...)

(All Might looks down at his dying former sidekick with a distraught expression — remembering his desperation in trying to keep him alive. Reliving the memory of himself walking away from Nighteye pleading, begging him to retire.)

(Toshinori: Nighteye...)

(Suddenly, Nighteye sluggishly opens his eyes at the sound of All Might's voice.)

(Mirai: A-All Might... You finally feel like seeing me... on my deathbed...?)

(Toshinori: There's nothing I can say to that. I've done terrible things to you...)

(Suddenly Izuku sprints to where Nighteye is laying. All Might inches aside as he sees the genuine sorrow in his successor's eyes, witnessing the final words of Sir Nighteye.)

(Izuku: Nighteye, please! Live! — Do your best!)

(Mirai: You're being... very respectful... I don't resent you at all.)

(All Might suddenly begins crying softly. With desperation in his voice, he pleads for his friend to survive even for just a little while longer. Izuku also begins welling up at the sight of even All Might sobbing.)

(Toshinori: *Sob* Please let me atone for all I've done up until now...)

(Mirai: I wanted to change the future where you were killed... so I kept looking for ways to change it... but it was to no avail. But today, Midoriya showed me... a strong vision with no room for doubt...)

(Energy that wished for a future... So I thought it could be the result of that energy converting on Midoriya... and being released. That's enough for me...)

(My... only regret is...)

(All of a sudden, Mirio bursts into the emergency room with tears falling from his face. Being Nighteye's student and protégé, of course Mirio would be taking his dying breath the hardest.)
