Several minutes later, the boat ride eventually comes to an end. Momo had fallen asleep while resting on Shoto's shoulder. She is abruptly awoken by the sunlight, alerting Shoto to where she had been asleep.

Shoto: I'm sorry. Did I wake you?

Momo: No, you didn't. It's fine.

It seems like nothing had happened inside the tunnel. Shoto and Momo exit the boat, and exit the queue for the ride.

Shoto: It seems like we just ended up falling asleep during the ride. The sun looks like it's about to set, and the festival might close soon.

Momo: We might still have time for one more ride before meeting up with the rest of our classmates. Where would you like to go, Shoto?

Shoto: I don't really know...

Suddenly, the two are interrupted by the laughter of two familiar voices. Shoto and Momo look towards the laughter, and see Izuku and Ochaco walking together, arms interlocked with one another.

Izuku: ...and when Iida was helping me develop my Shoot Style, I accidentally kicked him using 30% of my power, sending him straight through the gym!

Ochaco: Ahahahaha — Was that what happened that day?!

Momo: Ehehehe... It looks like you two are having fun!

Izuku: Y-Yaoyorozu and Todoroki?

Ochaco: O-Oh hey, Yao-momo! Deku and I were just about to go to the ferris wheel to watch the sunset! I heard there was gonna be a fireworks show since Christmas was coming up. Do you two wanna join us?

Momo: The ferris wheel? That sounds like a great idea; we should go with them! What do you think, Shoto?

Shoto suddenly begins nervously shaking, pointing attention towards him.

Izuku: Todoroki, are you okay?

Momo: Shoto? Are you still sick...?

Shoto: *Gulp* I'm... I'm afraid of heights.

...

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Izuku: Todoroki, I didn't know you had jokes!

Ochaco: You know, for such a cool guy, I didn't know you had such a funny sense of humor — hahahahaha!

Momo: Hee hee hee — You're so silly, Shoto...

Shoto is suddenly flushed in embarrassment.

Shoto: You guys, I'm serious! I remember riding a ferris wheel with my mother when I was younger. I was so excited because my siblings were too. When we suddenly were lifted up, my vision became blurry, and I vomited on the cart.

I was crying the entire ride, clinging onto my mother. It didn't help that my brothers and sister were laughing at me. When we got down, I swore to never step foot on another ferris wheel again.

...

Momo, Izuku and Ochaco begin laughing even louder.

Shoto: This is a serious matter, you three! I'm still scarred from those events all those years ago.

Ochaco: It's okay, Todoroki — You don't have to come if you don't want. Let's just go ourselves, okay Deku?

Izuku: Alright, Uraraka!

Ochaco and Izuku begin walking away towards the ferris wheel, their hands still locked with one another.

Ochaco: *Afar* Y'know, you can call me Ochaco when we're alone...

Momo looks at Izuku and Ochaco, and smiles at the sight. However; she also sees Shoto who is still panicking to himself.

Momo: A-Ah, Shoto! Are you okay?

Shoto: *Gulp* Momo, I suddenly can't stop thinking about that day with my family. I can't get the image of heights out of my mind. I can't do this...

Momo: Do you need water? I can create an ice pack with my quirk if you want.

Shoto: Oh no... Do I have a "crush" on high altitudes?! I can't get the image out of my mind, it's just like with Yaoyorozu! Oh, God... Momo, I'm sorry, you aren't in my thought process anymore! I can't stop thinking-

Momo: Shoto, you're rambling! It's fine, we don't have to ride the ferris wheel if you really don't want to, a-and I don't think it's humanly possible to have a crush on... heights...?

Shoto: (Damn you, heights. I will not let you get in the way of my love for Yaoyorozu. She's the one I have a crush on, not you!)

Momo: Sh-Shoto? Hello...?

Shoto: Momo... do you want to see the fireworks?

Momo: Huh? W-Well of course I do, but we don't need to ride the ferris wheel to see them! We can just watch from a seat, and-

Shoto: Then it's settled.

Shoto then quickly grabs Momo's hand, and pulls her, walking towards the direction of the ferris wheel.

Momo: Sh-Shoto, what are you doing?

Shoto: We're going to see those fireworks. The peak of the ferris wheel has the best view, and I want ONLY the best for you, Momo. I will prove to you that my feelings for you are stronger than my fear of heights.

Momo: *Blush* E-Ehhh?! (I don't think he realizes it, but he's being so unintentionally smooth!)

Shoto: L-Let's... go...!

Momo: You look like you're about to throw up, and we aren't even ON the ride yet!

Shoto: Believe me... I'm... fine...!

Suddenly, screams of fear are heard coming from inside the tunnel of love, alerting both Shoto and Momo. Observing closely, they see Eijiro screaming, as Mina's arms are wrapped tightly around him.

Mina: Awwww, come onnn — the ride's over? It was just getting good!

Eijiro: Ashido, stay back! Get away from me!

Once the boat stops, Eijiro quickly jumps out of the boat next to Shoto and Momo. Mina exuberantly follows, and Eijiro hides behind Shoto

Eijiro: Oh, thank goodness you two are still here! Help me, she's gone mad!

Mina: Aww, don't be like that, Eiji! Don't tell me you didn't enjoy that just a little teensy bit~...

Shoto: What did... you do to him?

Eijiro: She told me that she was going to make me a man, but I didn't know she was going to do THAT!

Mina: Come onnnnn — we aren't finished! Let's go again!

Eijiro: AAAAHHH! Bakugo, help me!

Eijiro quickly sprints away. Mina suddenly begins chasing him.

Mina: *Sing-songy* Coome baack, Kirishimaaaaa!

...

Momo: I-... think that we should just go to the ferris wheel and leave them be.

Shoto: Even my fear of heights pales in comparison to my fear of whatever Ashido did to Kirishima inside the ride...

Momo and Shoto, still holding each other's hand, begin walking towards the direction of the ferris wheel following the odd encounter.

Droplets of rain suddenly begin to fall down from the sky.
