79. THANKSGIVING EVE 2 *

Once Lee started driving again I uploaded the video to my pages including the video that Patrice took of the guys. It didn't take long before the gang was ribbing Lee and the faces he made whenever the song started and he couldn't shut it off. Of course, the guys teased him about liking I'm a Barbie Girl joking they always knew he was a little too girlie. As for the muppets, they so went there claiming he never left his childhood behind. Lee was so not happy once we made it to the house and he saw all the posts. He glared at me "that shit better be off my car and my radio better be working in the next hour." Noah was chuckling and once Lee stormed into the house he shook his head "pop the hood." I jumped into Lee's car and popped the hood and nearly jumped out of my skin when I hear next to me "we will get the stuff under the car." I glared at them "you two are not funny Dixon." I hear a snort "she got you, dude." "I said you two Eddie I just said Dixon's name since he was next to the window." The three of them had it done in about ten minutes and I jumped out and Eddie smirked "so, why did you take the prank out so soon." Noah snorted "because Lee has a date and Elle here doesn't want to give him grief." "No, that is not it Noah." "Then why?" "Because I do not want to hear him complaining while we are shopping for the groceries or making the damn pies."

He nods "ah, that is right we still have to pick up what our moms forgot." "No, there is no we there son. The men are getting everything set up so head on in while us women go and get the shopping done." Noah groans and stomps in the house causing me to giggle. "What is wrong with him Elle?" I look at Becs "Oh, he doesn't want to spend time away from me." "Ah...that is so cute." "I can't blame him I don't want to spend time away from him either." My mom chuckles "then get in the car and let's go." I waved bye at the guys as we pulled out and away we went to the grocery store. While I was there I saw these fake nails decorated for Halloween and since they were on clearance seeing that Halloween had passed I bought a few sets and cackled. Becs looked at me "let me guess the next prank for Lee." "Yep, but I won't put them on him till tomorrow night after we all go to bed." "Why?" Our mom's walk up and June smirks "because she is not ruining our first Thanksgiving with Mary back." "Exactly June." "Plus sweetie it is your first Thanksgiving back with your family as well. I know you all are coming over but that is just so your mom can enjoy spending time with you and not have to worry about dinner."

"Don't even think about it I plan on helping you ladies with dinner." "We didn't say you couldn't help. We just said so you don't have to worry about it. Plus there will be no clean-up." I laugh "only because we make the men clean the kitchen June." "Those poor babies having to clean up the kitchen before and after dinner. My Maxwell used to always complain about having to do the cleanup before and after Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner." I bump my shoulder into my mom's "yeah, he still complained." I snorted "at least until the year that June made them make a full meal without our help in July to prove they could do Thanksgiving and all four of them came running out after trying to make the first pie." June snorted "those three dorks dropped to their knees and begged us to take over and they would do the clean-up from then on." My mom looks at me "I thought you said your dad became a good cook. I mean his Mexican Extravaganza meal and waffles are delicious." I giggled "yeah, but he said a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal was too stressful."

We all were laughing our butts off as we made it to the register and soon paid for our purchases and headed out the door. What I didn't know was that all of them grabbed a pair of nails and decided to join me in making their men pay. I was really interested in how Becs was going to get Sean at first but she admitted that she would not be pranking him. She didn't buy fake nails she bought the stickers and she was going to do her dad's toes. I was giggling so much my mom looked at me "what's so funny." "Becs and Mrs. Lawson are going to do Coaches fingernails and toes." "Oh, we all are." I look at her "what?" Patrice giggled "we decided it will be a prank on all the men. You will do Noah, I will do Lee, Lois will do Carl, your mom will do your dad, Mrs. Flynn will do Mr. Flynn and as you said Mrs. Lawson will do your coach. We are going to have to find a way so Becs can do Sean." This couple that was walking past us looked at her and quirked an eyebrow up and I lost it. I was holding my stomach I was laughing so hard "what is so damn funny Elle." Lois was in the same boat I was as well as our mom's" "Come on guys tell me." The woman behind us tapped her on the shoulder "sweetie think about what you said." You could tell she was trying not to laugh as well. Patrice was thinking and all of a sudden her eyes went wide "oh, my God that sounds so bad." I nodded my head "yes it does." Becs finally could breathe "imagine if you had added me helping my mom with my dad." Patrice covered her mouth "Oh my God."
