It had been a couple of days since we saw that person crying wiping away the tears as they drove off. It was then we realized that the person was a woman. She had knocked off her hat and let her glasses slide off. After telling the family the new development they were glad we at least knew to look for a woman. It was weird going to the arcade and watching my Uncle watching us as we played. One time we had to explain to security who he was since he followed me to the bathroom and stood outside the door until I came out. Needless to say, he decided to just sit at a table where he could watch the DDR machine and the bathroom door after that. The fun one was when Lee and I went to the mall to buy clothes. Luckily since I hate shopping he only had to endure that one time.

The hard thing to negotiate was the first party we wanted to attend. We were able to convince the rents to let us go simply because Carl agreed to go and we all promised not to drink. The only real problem we had at the party was Thomas kept trying to pick me up. I did not understand why he couldn't take no for an answer. I even tried dude were cousins excuse and all he said was only by marriage. He kept giving me the creeps and the worst was that I would have to put up with him when school started since my dad and his made him promise to help keep an eye on me.

Soon the first day of our senior year was upon us. For the first time, I was not going to be late simply because Lee came banging on my door early and would not stop till I got up and opened the door glaring at him then headed into the bathroom to start getting ready. It wasn't long before I was downstairs in my yellow button-down shirt, skirt thigh high socks, and sporting Noah's tie I pulled on a pair of flats as I made it downstairs. Lee and I said goodbye to everyone ran outside and jumped into the car where Carl was waiting for us in the backseat. He had already learned the hard way that the front seat was mine. We drove down to mine and picked up Thomas and headed off to school. I giggled as we pulled away from the curve. "What is so funny Shells?" "The fact that I didn't come running out of the house with a piece of toast in my mouth and a sandwich for you late." He threw back his head and laughed "too true."

It wasn't long before we arrived at school and we all got out of the car. I looked at Lee and let a tear slide down my cheek "hard to believe this is the last first day we will have at Buckner." He smiled "true but soon we will be on to bigger and better things." We were standing by our lockers excited since the only class we didn't share was soccer since Lee is so not an athlete when my phone went off. I looked down only to see that Noah was calling me. "Hey, baby." "Hey there Shelly baby how are you and Lee doing this first day of your senior year." I smile "we are good." "Have you seen her?" "No, we actually haven't been followed the last few days. Whatever made her cry might have made her decide to leave us alone." "Or she is lulling us into a sense of security. Please baby I can't lose you after finally having you in my arms. I love you too much to lose you now." "I promise I will stay on guard until we know for sure. I love you, Noah." Right then the bell rang and Noah smiled "now get to class Shelly and keep those grades up so you can get into the school of your dreams."

After hanging up with Noah we went to our first class which was math. Everything was going pretty normal with the same old teachers. Lunch on the other hand was hilarious. The look on the gang's faces when Carl and Thomas joined us was hilarious. Eddie jumped up and glared at them "who the hell are you two?" I giggled "Eddie this is my step cousin Thomas and Lee's cousin Carl." "Oh, yeah sorry dudes after Lee called us and told us what was going on we are all going to be a little over protective of Elle especially since not only is she our buddy but so don't want Flynn to kill us." I started laughing "guys Noah is not that bad." "Yeah, right he called me last night and warned me to make sure you were safe or he might have to rearrange my face." I giggled "sorry dude Noah is a little on edge since none of us want him to come rushing home." "Who can blame him. I would be too if my girl was being watched by some stranger especially if said girl is someone I wanted for years but kept my distance for my little bro." I giggled "Yeah, I still can't believe he confessed his love for me at Prom."
