I missed shelly so much it drove me crazy.  Didn't help any that Carol would not take not interested as an answer.  She even tried claiming she knew that an older guy was hitting on my girl.   I hated the fact that my study group let her join us because I knew she would not stop.  She really hated it when I would talk about Shelly or the wedding.  It was rather funny when Justin my roommate looked at me "so you are going home this weekend?"  "Yeah, my mom set up some appointments with caterers.  Even though I know we have a lifetime ahead of us I don't want to wait.  If it wasn't for the fact she is still in high school I would marry her tomorrow.  She tried getting me to wait until at least till I graduated from college but I smiled at her and told her why wait when I have loved you for so long.  Once I said that she agreed but I had to concede to wait until after her and my little brother's eighteenth birthday."   Mario looked at me "why wait till after your brother's birthday."  I chuckled "that's right only Justin knows the strange twist of fate my brother and my girl share.  See our moms were best friends up until we lost Mary in a car accident or so we thought.  After my parents had me it wasn't long before my mom announced she was pregnant again.  The funny thing was the same day Mary announced she was pregnant."

Taking a deep breath I continue "the strange thing is they both started talking about raising them as twins as a joke."  "What makes that strange."  I laugh "my brother and my girl were both born on the same day."  Everyone started laughing "that is strange."  "Yep, it only made them more adamant about raising them as twins.  Now here is where it gets really freaky."  "How can it get more freaky than that?"  I chuckled "growing up the two of them developed what most would consider a form of telepathy.  It was weird watching them talking back and forth and all of sudden get quiet and stare at each other nodding their heads.  It was a little nerve-racking when they would be really quiet studying and all of a sudden stand up and yell the exact same thing at the exact same time.  We all started calling it their twinlepathy and because of it they eventually started calling each other twin."  

"So, the only reason it is after your brother's birthday is that it is also her birthday and he is the second most important man in her life."   I chuckle "nope that would be the little man her baby brother Brad."  We all laughed and Carol groaned "please she is just a child while I am all woman.  Why not give me a chance before you tie the knot and I will show you what a real woman can give you."  I glared at her "like I have said before not interested.  Not to mention I would never hurt my girl like that by cheating on her."  I had enough and stormed off to the bathroom.  It wasn't until I returned to the table I realized I had left my phone on the table.  I just shrugged my shoulders and could not believe the one-eighty Carol took while I was gone.  She sat there really smug and excused herself to the lady's room.  Almost as soon as she disappeared my phone rings and I notice it is my mom.  I know I will be up shit creek if I don't answer her and before I could even say hello she starts in on me "  "Of all the asinine things you have done in your life. This one takes the fucking cake.  I can not believe you would break up with Elle via text message."

Wait crazy pissed off mom say what?  "Mom."  "When you get home you are fucking losing everything."  "Mom."  "As for your credit cards...oh god Max and your father are so going to want......"  "MOM. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT."  "Don't yell at me, young man."  "Well I have no idea what you are talking about I did not in no uncertain terms break up with Shelly and especially not through a fucking text message.  I would never do that you raised me and Lee better than to disrespect a woman in that way."  "Then why am I looking at a text that says   Rochelle it's over I don't want to date a kid in high school. I want a real woman."  

"What the hell."  I soon hear Matilda "Uhm, Flynn Carol used your phone we thought she had your permission."  I glared towards the bathroom "mom I have an idea what happened.  This girl has been trying to get me to cheat on Shelly and when I told her I would not do that she used the phrase why would I want a child in high school when I could have a real woman."  "So, how does that prove you didn't send that text."  "Mom I left my phone on the table and Matilda just told me that Carol used my phone."   I glanced at the clock and cleared my throat "mom I need to go and try and call Shelly.  I have to make sure she knows it was not me and she is still my fiancee."  "Ok son bye sorry for yelling and not letting you explain."  "No problem mom I understand."
