24. LEE WHY ME? *

After we all arrived home it wasn't long before our phones were going off like crazy and Lee kept glaring at me. As usual, the guys gave him grief most of them did the same stuff giving him a hard time about setting himself up but Noah's was hilarious. He posted so, I guess that is double because not only did it hurt going in but I bet it hurts coming out. I lost it at that one. I didn't stop to think about the burning sensation he was going to experience once he used the restroom. Luckily my cameras were still set up in his bathroom so this was going to be loads of fun. Later that night I snuck into Lee's bedroom and proceeded to use spirit gum on his eyebrows as well as some wax I found at a theatre make-up supply store. I applied the wax and it was perfect. It actually looked like Lee didn't have any eyebrows. I then decided to do his make-up thankful that Patrice, Lois, and our moms had been helping perfect my make-up skills. Once I was done I sprayed him with finishing spray and turned off his alarm. I decided to make him late. Well, not late for school but just late enough so he will rush to get ready.

I went to sleep and made sure to set my alarm to go off so I had plenty of time to get ready. Once I was up I got dressed and then went and knocked on Lee's bedroom door "hey Twin you ready?" I soon hear "shit I am late. Let me get dressed and we will head out." I walked downstairs and made sure to make a breakfast sandwich from the food our mom's made for both of us and grabbed our drinks heading out to the car. I made sure to get Mathew to record the house the night before until we left so I could get the rents reactions to my masterpiece. It is not long before Lee runs out brushing his hair and jumping into my car. I decided to drive so Lee didn't look in the mirror before we got to school. It was perfect since the dork didn't even bat an eye and climbed out heading into the school. Everyone was staring at him and Carl walked up "dude what the hell?" "What?" "Your face." Lee runs over to the trophy case and screeches "ROCHELLE ELIZABETH EVANS YOU ARE SO DEAD." I cackle "ahh Lee you look so pretty." "Your not funny."

Carl looks at me "so where is that step-cousin of yours?" "Oh, him once my dad and Uncle found out what he has been up to my Uncle moved out and has him attending another school. My dad said he didn't want him anywhere near me. Plus now that we know our stalker was my mom I am back at my dad's." "Yeah, we have missed you around the house. So, the fact Lee is wearing make-up is the reason you spent the night." I grinned "yep. So, I take it your parents finally sent you a car." "Yep, since I have been on my best behavior they decided to reward me. Plus now that I have a girlfriend I begged them for the car so I could take her out on dates. The funny thing is she is a lot like you." "Really?" "Yep, her name is Brenda. The main difference is that she is into art but she doesn't believe in sex before marriage." "Well, that is good. Does she know about your past?" "Yeah, she does." I saw this girl walk up about 5'6", with dark brown hair, oval-shaped eyes, and face. "Lee told me to make sure to tell her if I wanted to make her my girlfriend because if I didn't and she found out about my past accidentally she might not forgive me." She smiles at me and looks up at Carl "hey babe." She kisses him and smirks at me and I couldn't help but giggle.

Before I could explain our relationship I hear Lee let out a high pitch scream. I started laughing holding on to my sides "what's up Elle?" I gasp "that was you cuz." He chuckled "what else did you do?" "Wait for it." Lee storms out "really my eyebrows Twin." I cackle "Yep." I snap a picture and upload all the pics. It wasn't long before my phone rings and I am still laughing. I smile at everyone "hey babe, I have you on speaker." Noah is laughing "so, little bro now all the hair you have left is on the top of your head." "Not funny Noah." I cackle "Yes it is." Carl looks at Lee "I have to agree with Elle." I snort "Uhm, Carl did you explain to your girlfriend about mine and Lee's twinness." "Oops, nope." "I will explain later." "So, you like the latest prank." "Hell yeah. Although I hope his eyebrows grow back before the wedding." Brenda looks at me "what?" I giggle "oh, I am marrying Carl's cousin Noah."

"Oops, I thought you were after Carl." "Nope." Noah groans "Shelly, who the hell is that." I laugh "Carl's girlfriend." "Girlfriend or friend with benefits." The girl gasps "girlfriend." "You have me on speaker." Carl laughs "cuz she told you when you first called plus you talked to Lee are you losing your mind talking to your girl." "Shelly baby please take me off speaker." Giggling I take him off speaker "yes baby?" "Why the hell is Carl with you?" I giggle "Noah chill he has a girlfriend. Her name is Brenda." "Oh, sorry. Are you sure your step cousin..." "If that douche called you and told you Carl has been jacking with me it is the other way around. My dad and Uncle decided that it would be better if they moved out and he went to another school. He is pissed. He tried to convince my Uncle that we were dating and that you blackmailed me into getting married." "What the fuck?" "Yeah, don't believe me ask the gang. Dixon was ready to deck him." "Thank god Max knew better." "Yep." "Ok, I hear the bell I will let you go I love you Shelly baby." "I love you too Noah babe."

As we walked to class Brenda walked up to me "so, you and Carl?" I look at her "hell no. I am engaged to his cousin Noah. Carl keeps an eye on me because when he arrived I was being stalked and we were not sure what the stalker wanted. We eventually found out it was my mother and that in an accident that happened six years ago where we thought we lost her." I took a deep breath "her twin sister's husband claimed her as his wife and let us believe her twin sister was her and dead." Brenda looked at me "boy that sucks." "yep." "So really there is nothing between you and Carl." I giggled "other than the fact we will be family this summer nope there is nothing between us." She looks at me "ok I guess." Shaking my head "let me guess some girl told you that I stole my fiancee from them." "Well yeah and that she is pregnant with his baby. Not to mention you also got her sister's boyfriend to dump her when she was pregnant with his baby." I shook my head before I could say anything Carl said, " babe if you asked I could have told you she was lying."  "Yeah but Rebecca became a good friend."

I laughed "oh, that was her name. Dang, I thought it was Lucy or something." Carl chuckled "you didn't even catch the name of the girl claiming to be my cousin's girlfriend." "Nope why would I when he is all mine and always has been." "True." Brenda looks between the two of us and Carl clears his throat "look babe. I know for a fact my cousin Noah has only ever had one girlfriend and he made her his fiancee. He did not sleep with that girl because even though he stepped aside thinking Lee loved Elle he didn't want to give up on her. Not to mention the paternity test came back negative. As a matter of fact, another guy took the test and he was proven the father and he will be getting custody of her baby. As for her sister Rachel, she made my cousin Lee choose between her and Elle. Seeing that Elle is Lee's best friend and his big brother's girlfriend at the time he wasn't going to do that." Before we could say anything we soon here "besides the baby is mine. She used me to try and trap Lee into a marriage. She told me she was on the pill and didn't need to use a condom." I look at Warren "When did you get back?"  "Last night.  I proved to my dad I was done being an ass and wanted to help raise my kids."

I nod my head "the worst part is the parents were behind the whole scheme." She shook her head "is that why she is living with her aunt away from her siblings." "Yep, her two younger siblings were separated between two different family members since they were being groomed to do the same thing. As for the older sister she was committed since she had a nervous breakdown when everything came out." "Dang, that sucks." "Yep, here we thought the worst was going to be dealing with Carl here." "Hey, I am not that bad." I laugh "I know Carl I am just teasing." We all kept talking and several of our classmates told her all about the kissing booth and how several girls were not happy that I took Noah off the market.  Carl rolled his eyes "Yeah, apparently my cousin Noah was the most popular boy in school." "Ahh, Carl you jealous that you will never have the rep Noah had here." "Nope, I do not want that rep. I mean I know he never closed the deal but kissing random chicks to forget the girl I love. Nope. Besides he told me that was the one thing he regretted about high school. He wished he had just stayed in the background and waited for you so he didn't feel unworthy." I shook my head "yet I always feel as if I am the unworthy one." Brenda looks at me "why is that you're gorgeous."

Lee chuckles "because my idiot brother even though he stepped aside for me he didn't want my twin here with any other guy. So, he would threaten them that if they asked her out they would have to answer to him. He never took into account that keeping guys away from Shells she would become self-conscious." "Well, you are gorgeous Elle. Wait why do you call her twin?" Lee laughed "yeah, see..." Once Lee finished explaining mine and his twinness she nodded "that is awesome. I wish I had a best friend like you two." It was at that point I realize the class is almost over and no one stopped us from talking "Wait where's the teacher?" We all soon here "sorry for being late but I guess we can get to know each other tomorrow. Just so you know my name is Justin Blaine and I will be your new history teacher."
