36. SCARRED FOR LIFE *

After finishing up with the caterers Noah decided we were all going to have some fun.  He told the rents he wanted to take us to the arcade on the boardwalk they just smiled telling us to have fun.  We took off laughing and having a grand old time.  Brad could not believe he was being allowed to go with us to the arcade.  Once there he watched Lee and myself leave him and Noah in the dust as we made our way to the DDR game.  He laughed when the two of them walked up while Lee and I were getting ready to start our routine.  I heard him ask Noah in the middle of the whole thing "doesn't that embarrass you."  "Nope why would what they are doing embarrass me."  "Well, they are acting like dorks."  Noah laughed "Brad as our moms used to say if you can't have fun with your bestie no matter what, then there is no point in having a bestie."  The song had just ended and Brad nodded as Lee and myself put in our names knocking off a person that was trying to take us down.  Once they were gone we were once again the only one's on Be Together.  We high five and bumped our hips causing Brad to chuckle and shake his head "my big sister is a dork."

Noah laughed "yeah and my baby brother is a dork."  We both looked at them stuck out our tounges.  Looking at Lee "so, how about we go eat by ourselves since our brothers think we are dorks."  "Yeah, sounds like a plan.  Oh, and Shells since my big bro thinks you are a dork like Brad maybe we can find you..."  "Don't even finish that sentence little bro Shelly is all mine."  He pulled me into his arms nuzzling my neck "no one is allowed to touch her as I do."  Brad gaged and on queue the both of them yelled "gross gross gross."  Noah laughed nipped my ear "where is the hickey I left right here?"  He kissed the spot he left the damn hickey "under the make-up my mom used to hide it from my dad."  He groaned "but I want all the guys to see that you belong to someone.  Especially that new teacher."  I laughed "Noah calm down."  "Calm down the last new teacher/coach you had tried to hook up with you.  Now because he was fired there is another new teacher/coach and I want him to know you're taken."

Shaking my head I turn around in his arms snuggling into his chest "I only want you, Noah."  "Good because you are all mine as I am all yours."  We all took off and headed to the diner to grab a bite to eat.  I couldn't help myself I wanted to know what Martha thought of the little prank we pulled on Lee.  Since Noah was driving no matter how much Lee begged us not to stop.  There was no way he was going to win.  For two reasons one Noah wanted to make me happy and two he wanted to know himself what Martha thought of the whole prank.  Lee walked in sulking and Martha started laughing "What's wrong Lee?"  He glared at her "really Martha why did you help her a second time."  "Ok, Lee the first time I really believed you wanted to try the burger I gave you.  Elle told me you wanted it to be a surprise.  This time well I really didn't help either it was my daughter.  She spoke up before I could decline."  Lee glared at me "I can not believe that you got a total stranger to prank me."  

I laughed "why do you find it hard to believe.  Look at the principal."  He shook his head "yeah, but she won't let you prank me on school grounds again."  I nodded "yeah that sucks."  Lee glared at me "what did you have planned?"  I grinned "well I was going to have you come out of the locker room in just your boxers.  I had already asked Dixon to steal your clothes."  He shook his head "thank God you can't prank me at school."  I just cackled while sitting down "remember Lee one more and this is going to be the good one."  He groaned "come on Shelly don't you think the phone prank was over the top."  "Nope."  Martha got our usual for Lee and myself then took down Brad and Noah's orders.  She kept shaking her head "so, Lee why did your mind go straight to the gutter?"  Noah laughed "he is a teenage boy it is always in the gutter."  I laughed "hello you were right behind him."  "No, I wasn't."  "You covered Lee in your drink when she talked about how he liked the way her pie tasted."  Brad chuckled "she got you there."  

We all spent the rest of our time at the diner just reminiscing and eating our food.  The best part was when Lilly walked in and smirked at me since Lee didn't see her and she walked up to Martha and next thing I know she has a chocolate silk pie in her hand covered in whip cream.  I almost lost it when she turned and started walking up to the table.  She placed the pie in front of Lee "here is your pie covered in whip cream.  I know how much you love my pie covered in whip cream."  Lee blushed so red he looked like a tomato.  He glared at me smirked and took a big bite swallowed "yep, I do."  It didn't take Martha long before she brought the rest of us our slices of pie and she kept shaking her head "you do realize he will never live this down."  I nod my head since I know waiting at home is a chocolate silk pie and a can of whip cream from the gang.

Noah dropped off me and Brad before he went home with Lee and we walked in on something I would never want to see again.  My mom straddling my dad topless with my dad sucking on her breast.  I screeched while Brad yelled gross and we both ran out the door and straight to the Flynn's.  We ran into the house with Brad yelling my eyes which caused everyone to come out and look at the two of us.  I looked at June and Mathew "we are scarred for life."  It was at that moment June's phone rang and she answered it "hey Marry."  "Yeah, they are here."  "Well, Brad yelled my eyes and Elle said they are scarred for life."  "No, they didn't tell us what they walked in on."  Lee smirked and yelled, "alright Mary get your grove on."  I glared at him "gross gross gross."  "Well, now you know how I feel."   I smirk at him "really Lee how would you feel finding your mom Stradling your dad topless while he has her boob in his mouth."  Luckily Mathew had taken Brad into the kitchen so he didn't hear what I said but both Lee and Noah shuddered.

Noah pulled  me into his arms "well that is an image I never wanted in my head."  I look up at him "do you think I wanted that image in my head?"  "Duh no."  "Well it is still there I can't unsee what they were doing."  Lee shrugs his shoulders "well at least you know they are together."  I glare at Lee "come on Shells you know as well as I do that Max would not start something physical unless they were in a committed relationship."  "True but damn why did they have to be doing that in the living room.  Hello, it was Brad's curfew they should have known you would bring us home on time."  Noah started laughing "imagine if we had sent Brad in by himself and you came home with us."  I look at Noah "damn poor Brad."

June soon walked out "ok your mom and dad want you kids home so you can talk about what happened."  "Nope do not want to go there."  "Elle sweety all this means is that your parents have decided to be more intimate together."  "Yeah, and I saw them.  My mom was moving...up...and...oh my god it wasn't just him....oh my god..."  Noah chuckled "Shelly baby just so you know both Lee and I have walked in on our parents once and well at least for me I felt as if I wanted to gouge out my eyes."  Lee gagged "I wanted to run for the hills and bleach my whole head since not only did I see I heard something I...damn even now it makes me shudder."  June shakes her head "I understand but you and Brad really need to talk to your parents about where their relationship has progressed to."  I nod my head and head out to find Brad talking to Mathew and let him know that mom and dad wanted us home so we could all talk.

We walked home "does what we saw mean mom and dad are back together?"  I look at Brad "well with the way dad has talked to us about relationships I would hope they are back together."  "Do you think she is moving back into our house?"  I don't know she already bought the house next to Flynn's."  "So are we moving into that house?"  "I don't know Brad."  Walking into the house we hear our dad "kids come into the kitchen."  We walked in and see them sitting close to each other holding hands.  We take our seats since our parents had put out drinks for the two of us and look at them waiting for them to explain.  They kept looking at each other and I couldn't take it anymore "so, why in the world would you do that in the living room so close to Brad's curfew?  You knew we were coming home soon."

My parents looked at each other it was my dad that spoke first "I just thought you would keep Brad out till your curfew since all you kids were together."  "Brad told you he would be home by curfew."  "Yeah, like I said I thought he meant yours."  "Ok."  "Look, we meant to tell you kids that we had started seeing each other exclusively but honestly baby girl I didn't want to stress you out more with everything going on in your life."  I look at my mom "what do you mean mom?"  "With me coming back from the dead, the wedding, and that jerk going after you...I didn't want you worried if we didn't work out."  I nod "but why the living room."  "We kind of got lost in the moment."  "Why?"  "Well June was finally able to get my name back and I filled out paperwork to renew my license and well we were celebrating."  "Celebrating getting your name back and renewing your license with sex."  My dad cleared his throat "well actually we are renewing our vows."  "Wait you two are getting married again."  "Yes, Elle sweety.  Know that we do not intend to take away from you and Noah.  Our anniversary is coming soon and well we decided to get remarried on the same day."  "Wait that means you two will be married in a little over a month."  "Yep." 

I look at the two of them "there is more isn't there."  I watch my dad gulp and look between the two of us "well..."  "Not right now Max."  "What is going on?"  "Look tomorrow we are heading to the doctor so he can give you a blood test.  I didn't know you can get an instant blood pregnancy test so I wanted to wait until you finished your period."  "Why are you so adamant about me getting a pregnancy test."  "We don't want you to regret anything from your senior year."  "Mom dad come on what is really the reason?"  "Well...
