49. WEDDING TAKE 2 *

Lee almost fell laughing "oh, I can not wait for my bro to get here." "I know your dad, Mathew and Noah are going to laugh at how Bradley threatened Carl here." Carl shook his head "he is a pistol." "Yep, and he will be staying here too so I should warn you he probably will follow you around to make sure you leave me alone." We were all laughing when we heard "honey I'm home." I spun around and looked at the front door and there stood my Noah. I squealed and ran down the stairs throwing myself into his arms. He leaned down and kissed me until we heard a throat clear and turned to look at my dad and Mathew. I buried my head in his chest as Mathew said "now son I love you and all but you do not need to be kissing our girl in front of us." Carl and Lee started craking up at the face Noah made and he shook his head. "Ok what were you three laughing about when we came in?" I looked up and Lee and Carl and I all lost it. It took us a while before we were able to tell our dad's what happened and Mathew smirked: "good thing I was recording the interior since Noah asked me too."

We all ran to the game room while my dad went to get our mom's. I was confused that Mathew didn't get his laptop and it was then he let us know that he had the cameras linked to the tv. We waited for everyone to walk in and sure enough, Brad came in and glared at Carl before sitting down. Carl chuckled and shook his head causing me and Lee to giggle. Once everyone was situated Mathew started up the video and everyone started laughing at how serious Brad was. It only made our parents and Noah really lose it when Brad did the I am watching you move before he went into the room he would be staying in. Noah looked at Brad "thanks Brad for making sure my girl is safe." "Anytime Noah she is after all my big sister."

Later that night Noah and I were laying in bed and I heard him chuckling "what are you laughing at babe?" He shook his head "Bradley, I can not believe he threatened Carl like that." I giggled "I know it was really funny." "Yeah, but I am wondering is there something you are not telling me." "No, Noah. I think Brad is just on edge about everything that has happened and he doesn't want anything to cause our wedding to be postponed or stopped." "Ok, well if something happens." "I promise I will tell you. Now we need to get to sleep. My mom is waking us up early since I have to go and get my make-up and hair done." "I can't believe she didn't want a bachelorette party." "She said she already had one and there was no point in celebrating the end of her being single since technically as far as she was concerned she hasn't been since before she got married the first time."

He smiled "funny thing Shelly is that Max said the same thing." We both chuckled and cuddled up together and drifted off to sleep. I woke up with June shaking me "Elle sweety time to get up." I look at her and smile "ok. Let me wake up Noah." "No, don't let him sleep. He doesn't have to be up for another two hours." I nodded and got out of bed. After taking a shower and shaving what needed to be shaved I pulled on my blue bra and panties to match my dress and the button-up shirt and shorts I was wearing for the day. Once I had my purse I went back to the bed and leaned over giving Noah a kiss and telling him bye. He was so cute he smiled "bye Shelly." I headed out and met my mom and June in the kitchen. We all grabbed a quick bite to eat and it wasn't long before we were at the beauticians getting our hair and make-up done. The worse part was that since my parents couldn't see each other before the wedding after we were done we were heading straight to my mom's old house since it still hasn't been sold.

June insisted since she didn't want any accidental sightings happening since our new house was going to be next to theirs and my dad was getting ready at their house. I had just finished pulling on my dress when my phone went off. I glanced down and noticed it was Noah. I smiled and answered the phone. "Hey, Noah babe." "Hey, Shelly. I miss you." "I miss you too. Did you sleep well?" "Yep, and thank you for kissing me bye before you left." "Of course I would kiss you bye I love you and would expect the same from you." "Ok, well I just wanted to say hi my dad is glaring at me since I am not dressed." I laughed and looked at June who was also glaring at me "Yeah, I need to go too your mom is giving me the look." "Ok bye Shelly." "Bye Noah." Our moms shook their heads at me "really Elle you will see him in about an hour." "Yeah, you just saw him this morning baby girl. Noah is not going anywhere right June." "yep."

I shook my head and couldn't believe that our moms were comedians. June and I helped my mom in her dress and veil and made sure she had her blue garter on, her locket from when she and June were in college, a bracelet from June as her something borrowed, and her tiara for her something new. We looked at each other and almost cried at the fact that we all looked so beautiful. I was smiling at my mom "you ready to marry the man of your dreams again." She grinned and blushed "yep." I groaned "please mom what's with the blush." "Just thinking about our honeymoon." I gagged "so didn't need to hear that." I walked away with both June and my mom laughing and I couldn't help but shake my head at the comedians that are my mom and her bestie. I couldn't help but think now I know why Mathew and my dad always caught on to what Lee and I were up to. It is right there in front of me in my mom and June.

It wasn't long before we made it to the church and were standing outside the doors and I looked at my mom. "You ready." She nodded and soon we were walking in paired off. First, it was Lee and Brad with the rings. Then came June and Mathew followed by me and Noah. Noah still had a hard time believing that Brad didn't want to be one of the best men but he was glad it was me he was escorting. Once we made it to the stage we turned and in walked my mom. I heard my dad's breath catch and I looked at my family and they all smiled. Turns out my mom was able to get ahold of everyone except her brother Tony and they were stunned about what happened but glad to have her back. The priest started the service and I guess I spaced out imagining mine and Noah's wedding because I soon hear.

"Our couple has decided to say their own vows." I smiled as my mom started "Maxwell I fell in love with you way back in 1980 and I married you for the first time in 1982. You made me the happiest woman alive when you asked me to be your wife. Unfortunately six years ago our happily ever after was taken away from us. During those six years, I was missing I always felt as if something was wrong and that there was somewhere I was supposed to be. That the man that claimed me as his wife was not the man I truly loved. When I finally found you again and our beautiful children I wanted to run into your arms and hold you close but knew something was off since you were not looking for me. When I found out you thought I was dead...I believed I had lost you and you had moved on. Little did I know you could never let me go and soon found myself in your arms again. Everyone was smiling as my mom slipped on my dad's new wedding band on his finger.

I felt the tears sliding down my face as my dad took a deep breath "Watching you walk across the campus that day you stole my heart. I couldn't help but think that you were the girl I wanted to be with for the rest of my life but could not figure out if the guy that was always with you and your friend was yours or hers since he protected you both fervently. Once I realized you were available I made my move. Little did I know that not only will I get the girl but I would get a best friend in Mathew. As time went on the four of us became close and that caused you and June to start planning our lives together. The two of you even predicted the relationship between our daughter Rochelle and June's and Mathew's son Lee. We learned never to bet against you two. I spoke to Mathew and with his help, I decided to propose and set it up. I will tell you this when I proposed to you my heart was pounding out of my chest and little did I know not only was I going to get a wife but a family."

He took a deep breath "Six years ago when we lost you I felt my life was over. If it was not for June and Mathew helping me I don't know where I would be right now. They helped me realize that every day was going to be hard without you but I had to move forward for Rochelle and Bradley. That is what I did." He stared deep into her eyes "when you came back into our lives it killed me not to have you in my arms once we knew the truth. I wanted you beside me once again for the rest of my life." He smiled really big and wiggled his eyebrows "I will let you know this I will never let you go again, Mary Evans. I promise to love you and help make our family whole once again." We all watched as my dad slide on my mom's ring and I waited with bated breath as the priest said, "you may now kiss the bride." My dad dipped my mother and planted one on her that caused both Lee and Noah to hoot and holler.

My dad lifted up my mom and took off down the aisle with her giggling the whole way while the rest of us shook our heads. I glanced at Noah as we met up again to follow behind our brothers and parents and he smirked at me. "Just to let you know I plan on carrying you out of the church as well when we get married." I glared at him "you so better not." "Why not?" "Noah." "Yes, my lovely fiancee." "Your crazy." He leaned down and whispered in my ear "I am crazy for you. I can not wait for the day you become Mrs. Noah Flynn." I shook my head and met up with Lee and Brad and Lee shook his head snorting "let me guess Noah plans on carrying you out of the church as well." I glared at him and nodded as we climbed into the limo to meet our parents at the hall. I couldn't help but think tonight is going to be interesting.
