28. COME ON *

As soon as Patrice woke him up I smirked and counted "3...2...1..."  "Shelly you are so dead."  Lee comes storming down the stairs and into the kitchen.  Everyone turned as he walked in and no one could hold in their laughter.  Lee glared at me "you are not funny Twin.  Look at me I am covered in glitter wearing a damn cheerleading outfit and these damn underwear you put on me are tight.  With that, he reached up and pulled them off taking his underwear with them.  He spun around after throwing the spanks and his underwear over his shoulder flashing everyone his backside.  As we all started laughing harder he spun back around as I held up his thong.  He realized as everyone stared at him wide-eyed.   Especially since while he was pulling down his pants Lois, Eddie, and Dixon all walked into the kitchen.  

Dixon was on the floor laughing his ass off "good one Evans."  Lee stormed off and it wasn't long before he came down and waved his hand in front of my face.  "How the hell do I get these off.  It fucking hurts when I try to pull them off."  Patrice chuckles "you need to soak them in acetone."  He glares at me "just like the time you painted my nails with gel polish."   I giggle "yep."  He stormed off muttering "another fucking hour trying to get this shit off my hands."  We all cracked up laughing and June was gasping "I can not believe you were able to do all that to him last night."  I just smirked, "the funny thing is he has not realized that the new dye did not come out."  Patrice shook her head "does he not look in the mirror."  Nope, he just combs his hair since he has it cut so that is all he has to do."  

She shook her head "so what is next?"  "Oh, wait and see.  This is the big one."  "What do you mean the big one?"  Eddie started laughing "she means the next one is the last prank.  So, it will be huge and really get him good."  She shook her head "why does he even go up against you?"  Mathew laughs "we ask him that every time she pranks him."  As Lee predicted about an hour later he comes down minus the nails.  He walks up to me "twin is this the last prank."  I smirk "nope."  He groans and stomps off and I nearly fall down laughing.  I had decided to give him a few days before I hit him with the next prank.  So, when Monday rolled around he was a nervous wreck jumping at everything.  The gang was constantly laughing at him at how he was spooked so easily.   He didn't relax until we pulled into the school since he knew I could not prank him on school grounds.  I took time off as soon as Lee parked his car to speak to the principal about my last prank to make sure it would not be classified as bullying.  She just shook her head laughing "nope, that is not bullying and I give the all-clear."   

Since I had to make sure the principal was all for the prank I did not have my kit with me and I told her before I left that I was doing the prank the next day.  It wasn't long before I walked into our first-period class and sat next to Lee.  "So, where did you disappear to Twin?"  Oh, the principal wanted to make sure I was not going to do any pranks on school grounds.  She reminded me that it would be considered bullying."  He cracked up laughing "ahh, poor Twin can't prank me on school grounds or the arcade."  I just shrugged "so, there are still a lot of places I can prank you."  Mr. Blaine walked in and told us to partner up and Lee and I instantly paired off.   We read the board and it said to pick a time in history that had a significant impact on the world.  I looked at Lee "Ok since a lot of people are going to pick 9/11.  I say we pick the Berlin Wall falling or the space shuttle Challenger exploding."

Lee grins "the Berlin Wall that way we can ask the rents what it was like when they heard about the wall falling."  "True but we can do the same about the Challenger."  "Yeah, Twin but even though it did impact the world it was felt more by the scientific community and the friends and family of those on board.  The main reason the Challenger explosion impacted the world was that there was a civilian teacher on board."  I nod my head "too true.  OK, the Berlin wall it is."  We both start writing up questions to ask the rents when I started crying.  Lee pulls me into his arms ", you ok Twin."  "Yeah, I was just thinking I get to ask my rents about the Berlin wall, not just my dad."  Lee smiles "yeah, I love the fact Mary is with us again."  I hear my phone go off since I have it on my desk so I could use it to look up facts about the Berlin wall.  I ignore the text because I am in class and I am only using it to look up facts.  "So, let me guess Noah?"  I shrug my shoulders as a shadow covers us "I don't know.  I only have the phone out since Mr. Blane said we can use it for research.  I am so not checking my text.  Besides Noah knows we are in class." 

I look up to see who is standing over me and it is Mr. Blaine.  "How can I help you, sir?"  "Are you texting in my class?"  "No sir.  I was looking up facts on the Berlin wall."  I show him my phone and you can see I have a text but I have not read the text message.  He grabs the phone and opens the text.  Lee jumps up "hey that's private."  "Well, she had her phone out in my class."  Next thing I know he is reading the text out loud "Well well a text from someone named Noah.  He sends:  Rochelle it's over I don't want to date a kid in high school.  I want a real woman."  Lee snorts. "well we all know that is not true."  Mr. Blaine looks at Lee "stop lying to her."  He pulls me out of my chair and hugs me "it's ok to cry."  I try pushing him off as he pulls me closer and whispers in my ear "you don't need him.  Give me a chance let me take you to dinner."  I push him away "I am ok sir.  That message was not from my fiancee.  One he would never call me by my legal name unless he is upset with me or worried.  Second, he would not refer to what we have as dating since we are engaged and he loves to remind me of that fact." 

The bell rings and we gather our things and run out the door.  I look at Lee and shake my head leaning in and whispering as Patrice and the gang walk up "he asked me out."  Lee looks back at the classroom and there is Mr. Blaine watching us "damn I was right next to you and didn't hear him so we have no proof."  I nod my head "let's go he is really creeping me out."  It wasn't long before it was lunch and my phone goes off.  I answer the call and I hear Noah all frantic "Shelly baby I swear I didn't break up with you."  I giggled "Noah.."  "Shelly I mean it.  I went to the bathroom and left my phone on the table in the library with my study group and one of the  girls texted you from my phone."  "NOAH!!"  "Yes, Shelly baby."  "I know it wasn't you.  Hello, you only call me Rochelle when you are mad at me or when I am hurting.  Second, you told me we are no longer dating since I am now your fiancee." 

He chuckled "sorry baby."  "No problem Noah.  I take it one of the rents texted you."  "Actually my mom called me."  "Ah ok.  Don't worry baby I know you would not break up with me via text message since you love me too much plus the rents would kill you."  "You got that right.  My mom called yelling at me."  I giggled "what did she say?"   "Of all the asinine things you have done in your life.  This one takes the fucking cake.  I can not believe you would break up with Elle via text message." I had to yell mom at her since she started rambling about all the things she wanted to do to me and what she suspected my dad and Max would do as well.  When I explained I never texted you and that I left my phone on the table she calmed down.  That was when one of the other girls told me that Carol used my phone."  I laughed "man June let you have it and you did nothing wrong."  "Yep, and now Carol is out of the study group.  No one wants to work with someone so vile."

"What happened?"  "Well, while mom was yelling at me Carol went to the bathroom and she hadn't returned once my mom and I hung up.  I told the group what she did and they were furious with her.  We all pretty much agreed she was out.   When she sat down I asked her if she used my phone and she said no.  I even asked the group then why would my fiancee think I broke up with her.  She actually smirked at me and said because she is a whore like I have been telling you.  I bet she is already dating an older guy.  I happen to know that someone is hitting on her and she is not stopping them."  I looked at Lee gulped and mouthed he knows and watched him gulp.  "Shelly, why did you gulp is someone hitting on you other than that damn teacher?"  I took a deep breath "No just the new teacher and well you know how I thought I was reading too much into what was going on.  Since at the time all he had done was smile and wink at me."  "OK, it sounds like there is more."  "Yeah, well today we were told to partner up, and as usual Lee and I partnered up."  "Ok, nothing bad there."  "Well, we read the board and found that we were going to work on events in history that affected the world and we noticed we could use our phones for research.  I took out my phone and had it on my desk.  After Lee and I decided to do the Berlin Wall I started searching up information on the topic and then started writing questions to ask my rents."

"Ok.  Nice topic."  "Well, I had a moment about the fact I have rents and not just a dad when my phone went off.  Seeing as I was in class I didn't answer the phone because I knew if it was you and an emergency you would have called the rents."  "True."  "So, I ignored the text and explained to Lee why and he agreed.  Next thing I know Mr. Blaine the new teacher is standing over us and asked if I was texting someone.  When I explained no and showed him what I was looking at and that there was a text I hadn't read he grabbed my phone and even when Lee told him it was private he read it out loud to the whole class.  When Lee and I figured it was what you said Mr. Blane told Lee not to lie to me and then he pulled me up and held me telling me it was ok to cry.  I tried pushing him off only to have him pull me closer and whisper in my ear  "you don't need him.  Give me a chance let me take you to dinner."  "He what?  I am going to...
