"I knew you would find a way to throw yourself in front of the gun. There was nothing you wouldn't do to protect our girl." The conversation slowly changed to what we were going to do for thanksgiving and we soon were eating our meal. I looked around the table "I know that everyone here wants to relax and just enjoy us being together especially since Noah has to leave on Sunday but..." I gulp and look around "What Shelly baby?" "I want to find Rebecca." "Elle darling my office will handle finding her." "June I want to find her before Thanksgiving." I watch as Noah smiles and pulls me closer and Lee nods "mom she wants to give Coach Lawson the best Thanksgiving ever if it is her." Everyone looks around "please guys I owe him. He was willing to put his career on the line to keep me safe." Noah looks at me "what do you mean exactly." "He could have easily just let Mr. Blaine near me. I don't know what he told Coach Lawson but at one point I heard Coach Lawson say "I don't care you will not be near Evans especially since her parents don't want you near her."

Everyone looked around and nodded their heads "we will all help you, princess." I smiled at my dad when I heard next to me "I will help too. I know about this case I am one of the officers assigned to help find individuals that are from L.A. county." "You don't have to officer Dawson." "I know I don't but the way Martha talks about you and your bestie I feel as if you are part of our family." I smiled "so, we are going to do this." Everyone looked around and yelled "yes." I couldn't help but smile at how my family by blood, my adopted family since the day I was born, and a new family I gained at my diner were all willing to help me possibly make Coach Lawson's Thanksgiving a memorable one."

The next day we all met up at June's office and went through the files of all the individuals they had already found. Turns out that even if Mr. Blaine had been able to contact anyone it would have been too late. Not to mention in the logs of individuals kidnapped and forced to join the organization Mr. Blaine had kidnapped over fifty girls. Not to mention some of those girls he had his way with them once they turned eighteen. It was disgusting some of the things that they made the girls do to satisfy the men. Among the girls taken, there were five Rebecca's but none of them were from L.A. I started pacing back and forth "this can't be why else would Mr. Blaine bring her up." Then it hit me "shit Coach isn't from L.A. he is from Baton Rouge Louisiana." Noah jumped up "how the hell did we forget that damn Cajun accent he gets when he is upset." "I know." So we all dived right back in and sure enough, we found her.

Since she was from Louisiana they sent her back there and she was currently staying in a halfway house waiting for the authorities to find her family. I smiled and looked at my mom "let's go, all we need to do is pack a bag." I looked at Officer Dawson "you coming." "If I can I would love to see this end well." My mom gave him the information and took down his and we all went to our respective places to pack a bag. As we were heading out the door I looked at my mom "aren't you coming?" "I don't know if I should. I remember meeting her once I don't want her thinking..." "Mom we will explain everything. You have to come. You of all people will understand what she went through better." She nodded and it wasn't long before we were heading to Baton Rouge minus Lee, my dad, Mathew, and Brad. My mom thought it would be best if not too many men went along and Noah was not ready to let me go anywhere without him.

As Noah and I cuddled on the plane he looked at me "what do you think he will do?" "First stare at her thinking it is all a dream then try and run to her wrapping his arms around her." "Why try?" "I will hold him back with the rest of my team and remind him she has been through a lot and let her come to him." "So, true." "Do you think you can get Mrs. Lawson there?" I hang my head "I don't know. She has convinced herself that Rebecca is gone. She had her heart broken the last time someone said they saw her. The thing is they were right." "What do you mean?" "I read the full chart on Rebecca. Every sighting they had of her was correct. The thing is some of the members were police officers and would warn individuals that she was sighted and then..." "They disappeared." "Yep." "So, she gave up." "No, not really she just doesn't go running anymore when someone says they have seen her. She waits for the cops to handle things." "What about the cops that were helping the organization." I smirk "they were all arrested." "Good." "I hate bad slash dirty cops they give the good ones a bad name. Good ones like Officer Dawson." "I know."
