ATHENAS POV.

I woke up right before I hit the floor, "SHIT!"

"Damn it shut up" Neptune groaned, she kicked me off the bed.

Bitch.

Getting back up, I looked at my bed seeing Bellamy knocked out and Neptune easing back to sleep. Then I looked at the clock,

9:08 am.

"WAKE UP, We're late!" I dragged Neptune off the bed and she landed with a loud thud. Pay back bitch.

Running out of my room, I went to look for the older brothers. One of them could drive us to school,

Busting through the kitchen door I look to see all the biologicals and pride and prejudice sat at the table. Okay he's been here way too much recently. That's suspect..

Looking them over I saw the twins eating cereal, "Giovanni, Elias, why are you here? Do we not have school today?"

"No. It's a Jewish holiday, we have them off because our principle is Jewish."

Oh yeahhhhh, wait fuc-

"So your telling me Athena woke me up for no damn reason?" Neptune walked in looking deadly, not noticing Kason in the room.

Maybe I should've let her sleep.

Neptune could probably sleep through the end of the world, but if you wake her up too early she's scary as hell.

"I'm my defense I didn't know we were off." I raised my hands in surrender.

"Athena I will literally flip you over my shoulder onto hard concrete."

If you didn't know her you would think she was joking. But I know her.

In a quick escape of her wrath I change the subject, "Hey Nep I want you to meet Kason Bennett, my fathers work associate."

Glancing over to the table she looked him in the eye, her face went from angry to blank and her eyes looked slightly frantic at Kason. "Neptune Ramirez, nice to meet you."

Before he could answer she turned her attention back to me, "Come on Athena let's go wake Bell up."  Her was tone was irritated but slightly urgent?

I nodded at the boys and followed her back up to my room. What the hell?

When I walked in she closed the door behind us and woke Bellamy up quickly, not caring for his usual just waking up grumpiness. I sat down next to him while she paced in the middle of the room.

"Are you okay?" Bellamy rubbed the sleep out off his eyes. It was kind of scary how off she was acting.

"Athena that's Kason Bennett." Okay?

"Yeah Pride and Prejudice, I know. What's wrong?"

"He's a billionaire company owner."

"And we should care why?" Bellamy asked.

"Because that's not all he does." She whispers looking extremely caught off guard.

"Neptune. Explain, your scaring me." Why is she so frantic?

"Kason Bennett. 47 years old, stands at 6 foot five, has three ex wives and two children."

"Why do you know so much about him Neptune?" Bellamy urged just as confused as I am.

"He's an ally to the Italian mafia! He uses his company as a cover up for the dirty money and makes the money he has out of it." She harshly whispers,

"So what your saying is-"

Bell cut me off, turning to me "Your theory is correct."

I was lost for a second then it hit me, " I WAS RIGHT!" I jumped up from sitting and Neptune clamped her hand over my mouth.

When I quieted down I took her hand off and looked at both of them, "My family is basically the Italian mafia."

Sitting back down I went quiet. Holy shit my family's the fucking Italian mafia?

I must've zoned out cause when I looked back at Bell and Nep they were already looking at me with the same expression. Shock.

"I thought I was being dumb but I wasn't." I rambled in a whisper, suddenly scared for the biologicals to hear me.

"Speaking Italian, the suspicious third floor, the random business calls, the hit list, the Russian, the big ass house,the bodyguards, it all makes sense now."

I couldn't comprehend it, "Do you think they know about us? Our cliche rep? The criminal record?"

"It's a possibility."

"Your literally living the wattpad dream." They said simultaneously.

We both looked at Neptune,

"What? Okay maybe that was inappropriate to say but we've all done our fair share of illegal activities. And although you do deserve to react like that because that info is fucking mind blowing you also have to consider what you'll do the next time you see them. The most they probably know about is the criminal record which doesn't have everything we've done, only the lowkey stuff like vandalism and trespassing."

And now that I was thinking rationally, she had a point.

"Athena, if it makes anything better the Italian mafia doesn't kill innocents, I know that's a very big thing to you. And Bellamy you can not go down there until he leaves. He's been to your fights he knows your face and he could piece everything together."

To say I was astounded was an understatement. She's so right. 

"Okay now that we've calmed down children, we have to think of what to do next."

And now I remember why she's the mom friend.

"I think you shouldn't tell them just yet." Bellamy voiced.

"Why not?"

"Are you really ready to tell them everything? And I mean everything."

"I'm not sure yet. What's your point?"

"If you tell them that you know, they'll question how you know and how you pieced it all together.

If your not ready to tell them everything, wait. When the time comes we'll be right there with you, us against the world remember." 

I couldn't hold myself back, I may not like physical affection but in that moment I threw myself across the bed to crush them in a hug.

"I love you guys so much, I really don't know where I would be right now if I hadn't let Neptune in those years ago."

They both hugged me back tightly,

"We love you too Athena, we'll always be here. Forever."
