What is wrong with you?
I will never understand what possesses people to be so cruel towards others, and amount the hate one can witness on this app is absolutely disgusting.
Focusing on Wattpad haters, I just have one question. Why?
Authors are not under your control, they are their own person who decided to publish their work on here. Wattpad should be a safe platform for authors and readers, but some comments and DMs that I've seen on here throw the whole "safe platform" idea in the trash.
Please to all of you readers, authors, COMMENTERS, think about what you say or comment to someone on this app.
Words hurt. It's the horrible truth, and the power that they have is serious. Don't insult people, Be better, Do better.
Luckily I haven't experienced this kind hate yet. And I say yet because there is always a possibility, but hating and insulting people on their work that they love and spend a lot time on is not okay.
I know it will take much more than my words to change someone's personality / hating tendencies but I hope I have brought some kind of awareness to you all.
