A/N: I'M SOOOO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! I've been super busy, but I will try and make up for it.

Peggy had planned to celebrate Laurens' birthday a couple days before his actually date of birth. She knew it was a hard day for him, and wanted him to have a great birthday. This seemed like the best option. It was Saturday morning. James had spent the night with Maria to help her leave the hospital Saturday afternoon, so Laurens was able to sleep in that morning.

"Morning sleepy head." Peggy greeted him.

"Peg? What are you doing here?" He sat up rubbing his eyes. "How did you get in?"

"I came to celebrate your birthday since you don't like celebrating the day of." Peggy smirked. "I have the whole day planned. Starting with brunch at your parents, so get up!"

"You did all this? Thanks Peg, it means alot to me." Laurens smiled.

"That's nice, sweetie." She laughed as she flipped his mattress over and he fell to the floor.

"Alright, alright. I'm up." Laurens chuckled.

"Good. I'll let you get dressed, then meet me and Alexander downstairs." Peggy cheered. "I think Eliza and Lafayette already left."

"Ok." Laurens mumbled while stumbling to his feet. "I'll be down in ten minutes."

Peggy jumped and scampered out of the room.

Ten minutes later, Laurens came downstairs and met Peggy and Alexander. They got into Peggy's new car and drove to the Washingtons.

"Alexander?" Laurens asked, looking back to face Alexander in the backseat. "How much of this day do you know about?"

"Everything. Relax, you'll have fun." Alexander grinned.

"Why did that only make me more scared?" Laurens stated.

When they arrived, Eliza and Lafayette came out to greet them.

"Wait here, they said they needed a few more minutes before he came in." Lafayette said.

"Ok," Alexander answered. "Just let us know when they're done."

Lafayette nodded and went inside the house. Eliza stayed to greet them.

"Good morning. Happy Birthday-ish Laurens." She laughed.

"Thanks. You too." John blurted out. "Whoops!" (That's me by the way. Don't judge me.)

They all just laughed.

"It's ok man, I totally get it." Alexander laughed. "But it's a day about you, not a holiday."

Laurens put his head down in embarrassment. The others just laughed.

"We're ready!" Lafayette came back out.

They all went inside and were immediately hit with the smell of warm bacon. Laurens loved bacon. Bacon loved Laurens. They also smelled waffles, eggs, sausage, and what smelled like hopefully a pie. They all went into the kitchen to be greeted by the Washingtons.

"Hey honey!" Martha said. She walked over to Laurens and gave him a hug. "Happy Birthday!"

"Thanks. Oh, it smells great in here!" Laurens smiled.

"Good. I made all of your favorites." She gave him a kiss on the cheek and went over to the table. There were decorations all over the room. It made John feel happy.

"Where's dad?" Laurens asked.

"Oh, somewhere around here." Martha joked.

Laurens and Peggy sat down while Alexander went into the kitchen to help Martha bring everything in. Washington came in with Lafayette a minute later. Eliza sat down at the table as well.
