Alexander prepared himself for this moment. Everything was typed out and ready. He just needed to send it out. "Breathe!"
He took a deep breath and clicked the send button.

Meanwhile.....

"Any sign of Laurens?" Peggy asked Eliza.

Eliza just glared at her. "Why? Do you actually care all of the sudden?"

Peggy sighed. "Eliza please. I need to know if he's ok."

"No, I haven't heard from him." Eliza rolled her eyes. She suddenly got a notification on her phone. She froze when she saw what it said.

"What's wrong?" Peggy asked. She looked at her phone and saw the same thing. A document labeled, The Reynolds Pamphlet. They both took a moment to read it in their heads.

"Eliza? Are you ok?" Peggy asked.

"I-I." She began to cry. "I need to go."

Eliza ran out of her room and downstairs. She ran out the door, not even bothering to jump in her car. No one saw her for the rest of the day.

Alexander tried to find her, but was only greeted by Angelica.

He looked and saw the death stare in her eyes and immediately bolted for the door.

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE RUNT!!!!!!" Ange screamed. "I SWEAR! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!!!!"

Peggy saw her chasing him down the hall and stopped her sister.

"Ange, Stop!"

"Oh yeah, I should've expected you'd be on his side! Traitors!!!" Angelica yelled furiously.

"Angelica, that's not fair!"

"Oh really! I can't believe either of you! How could you willingly do something like this!?!?!?"

Peggy couldn't say anything to that. What could she have said? Nothing would have made up for what she had done.

"You're right. I shouldn't be acting like I'm any better." Peggy sighed. "Come on Alexander. If you wish to live, we better leave before my father finds out."

Alexander gulped nervously, but obeyed. They both left the house and went on a walk.

Eliza ran all the way across the city. She didn't know where to go or what to do. She didn't know how to feel or how to react. She just wanted to get out of there. She ran inside a small convenient store to see if she could buy a map or some water or something. She didn't mean to break down crying on one of the aisles.

"Eliza?" She heard a familiar voice. "Are you ok?"

She looked up to see a boy in a cast and a brace.

"Laurens? Where have you been? You gave us a heart attack." Eliza wiped her eyes.

"Why are you here?" He ignored her.

"You haven't heard? Alexander apparently had a secret relationship with Maria Lewis." She wept.

He wrapped his left arm around her.
"Huh. I'm actually not as surprised as I thought I would be."

"W-what do you mean?" Eliza looked over at him.

"Alexander told me Maria was flirting with him and said they use to date." Laurens explained.

"Well then. I guess my best friend is just a coward! And so is my husband!" Eliza sobbed.

"Can I help you miss?" A man came over where he heard the crying. "Is this guy bothering you?"
