Lucy Reese Collins

THE TRAIN SLOWS DOWN AS SOON AS WE ARRIVE ON KING'S CROSS STATION IN LONDON. I look at my friends with a smile. "I wish I didn't have to go home for Christmas,"  I say as I look out of the window. "I am sure it will be fine. I am pretty sure Sirius would love to entertain you during his ball." Says Jo, what makes me give her a death stare. Ever since she knows about me and Sirius, she keeps trying to expose me in front of our friends. And by the look on Isaac's face, I think she finally did. "What does she mean?" Surprisingly it's Hudson who says it. "Our dear Lucy hooked up with Sirius Black." Laughs Jo, what makes me roll my eyes. "I didn't hook up with him. We just made out a couple of times." August and Hudson look at me for a moment. "You and Sirius Black?" "When?" They ask at the same time. "In our fourth year. At the parties of the fifth, sixth and seventh-year student. The same parties my friends didn't want to attend." I say as I grab Blue's cage and get up. The train stopped a few minutes ago and I am pretty sure most students are already off the train. "Now, if you all don't mind, I have a father to please." And after those words, I walk away.

"Hey, Collins," I just stepped out of the train when I hear my name again. I look at the group in front of me. "Lanchester," I say cold. "Don't be like that. I heard that we will see each other again at the Blacks." I tilt my head a bit and look at the guys in front of me. "What?" "You didn't know? Every pureblood family got an invite." Charles looks at me with a playful look on his face. "Oh I did, but I didn't expect to see the pure Ravenclaw couple with their perfect little daughter and the black sheep." I see how Noah looks at Theodore as he whispers. "2-1 for Lucy." I grin a bit while looking back at Charles. My friends got out of the train as well and they all look at us. "You got your point, Collins. Now tell me what colour I should wear to the ball." I roll my eyes but answer anyway. "I think you have to go with green. Slytherin green." I look up and down for a moment and after I walk away. Nate comes after me and stops me. "What is it, Lanchester?" "Look, I won't tell anyone about what happened the other day, but you had no right leaving me in that classroom after what I did." I sigh as I look at him. "I know, and I am sorry. To be honest I freaked out." "I figured that I have never seen you so vulnerable. I always thought you were that perfect girl, with perfect parents and perfect life." He says as he pulls me further away from a Hudson and Isaac who are trying to listen to what we are talking about. "You read the letter." "Well, you basically pressed it in my hand, I was too curious." "I don't blame you. I would have read it too." He runs his hand through his hair as he laughs a bit. "I am so sorry for you. I wish I could help you or something." "I thought you hated me?" I say confused. "Listen to me, Lucy Collins. I don't like you, but I also don't hate you. I think I see you as a frenemy." I smile a bit. "Good to know, Lanchester. I got to go, but enjoy your Christmas." I grin one last time before I leave him.
