Lucy Reese Collins

I AM ON MY WAY TO THE COURTYARD WHEN SOMEONE STOPS ME. "We need to talk." He pulls me inside an empty classroom and locks the door. "What do you want, Coleman." "We need you for a prank on some students." I turn around and see Cassius, Nate, Charles and Theodore. "Why do you need me? You have two Ravenclaws yourself." I point at Nate and Cassius. "We all know that you are one of the smartest of our year. We need you." Says Charles as he runs a hand through his hair. "Sorry, what was that?" I ask with a grin. "You heard me, Collins." "No, I did not." Charles groans a bit but still repeats the words. "We need you." "Okay, then I did hear it right," I say as I smile. "You're annoying." Charles. "You're worse." Me. "Says you." I want to say something but Nate starts to talk. "Guys guys, please just shut up." The other boys look at us and I roll my eyes. "What do you need from me then?"

After we discussed everything the boys leave while I finish everything. I know I am not alone. "You should go before people see how you leave the classroom at the same time as me." "I just wanted to talk to you." "About what?" Silence. "Look Charles, I have to go, so if you want to tell me something, you should do it now." I want to walk past him but he blocks the door for me. "Maybe you should tell me why you kissed me." "First, that was weeks ago and second, you kissed me," I say as I step back. "Of course I did." He mocks me. "Why would I ever kiss someone like you." Ouch. That hurts more then I expected. "I don't know Garfield, I really wonder why I would even hang out with someone like you. That's why I have to go." "Because you have no one else, your friends don't like this side of you and your family hate you-" That's the moment I hit him in the face hard. "What the hell, Lucy!" "Well, you got your point, Garfield. Now let me out before I do more than just hit you in the face." I don't know if I am talking about cursing him or hitting him again, but I can't stay to figure it out. He steps away from the door and I quickly run out of the classroom.

The others are waiting outside and I walk past them without looking. I walk for a while when I hear my name. "Luce!" I turn around and see Jo. "Hey, you are late." I smile while I wait for her. "So are you. It's 11 am we had to be there 15 minutes ago." "I had something I had to fix first." She looks at me for a moment. "Charles? What's going on between you two?" "Why would you ask?" I wonder. "Because I saw you two together at your birthday party." I sigh and run my hand through my hair. "It happened one time and I was drunk at the moment so it doesn't count." I try to save myself. "You don't have to explain it to me, I mean we all know how persuasive Charles can be." "Don't even get me started." We both walk outside. "But enough about Charles, let's talk about Theodore," I say while looking at Jo's reaction. "He was way out of line and-" "You don't have to explain it to me-" I say as using her words against her. "I just want to warn you. You know his reputation. Theodore starts using those terms when he wants you on his list." "His list?" "All five of them have one. As you already know I made it to Charles'. Theo and Noah turn it into a game." She looks at me, it's almost like she's confused. "A game?" "Yeah, don't tell me you don't know what I am talking about?" "I have an idea but I need confirmation." She says carefully. "Yes Jo, they made a list of girls they did things with and I think Theo wants you on his'." She runs her hand through her hair. "Even Nathaniel and Cassius?" "C'mon, you can not say you are surprised right?" "No, to be honest, I am not. I just don't understand why Theodore wants me." We almost arrive at the Marauders and they all look at us. James looks playfully on his watch. Well, they waited already, they can wait a little bit longer. I grab Jo's arm and stop her. "You can not be serious. Jo, you are absolutely beautiful. You are one of the most wanted girls of Hogwarts and you don't understand why Theo wants you?" "That's you, you are the most wanted girl on Hogwarts, you are gorgeous, I just-" "Don't say another word. You are beyond pretty and I am not the only one who sees it and you know that." She smiles a bit. "You're my best friend, Luce." "I know, now let's go." I smile and after we both walk further to the marauders.

Josephine Lyla Merriweather

A LAUGH ESCAPES MY MOUTH AS I LOOK AT THE BOYS IN FRONT OF ME. James and Sirius are bickering about girls. Lily and Marlene to be precise. Lucy had to do something before joining us in the Three Broomsticks. "They're a bit obsessed aren't they?" I whisper to Remus. He chuckles while looking at me. "Or in love." A grin appears on his face and so does on mine. "I'm not in love!" Sirius states looking at the two of us. "No? I really thought you said something about her smile the other day.." "Or was it her eyes?" Remus finishes my sentence. "Her eyes sparkle in the moonlight," I quote the black-haired boy. "Shut up." I give Remus a high-five. "We can start talking about your love life." He says as a comeback. "Oh- sugar, my love life is depleted." I laugh at him. "You sure about that?" James grins. "Talking about you James, you understand Lily is dating Keith, right?" I avoid the subject about my love life, which is non existent. "Yea, so?" A chuckle rolls over my lips. "Just keep dreaming, I'm sure you'll get there."

A few hours pass, Jo and I are at the moment walking through one of the few clothing shops in Hogsmeade. The three boys decided to stay at the three broomsticks while we went dress shopping. We will meet up again later this afternoon. Peter and Lianna couldn't join us today because they are to busy studying for the upcoming exams, which I understand. With exams close it means the year is also coming to an end. "This one would look good on you." I glance up when I hear Lucy's voice intruding my thoughts. "Yea, It's cute." "Are you okay?" I nod and put on a smile again, "I'm fine, sorry, I was dazing off for a moment." She smiles, "c'mon we have lots of clothes to try on." A grin appears on her face right after. "I love trying on things!" I shriek following her into the dressingrooms.

"How about this one?" I make a small round. "Mmh, I liked the last one better. Yellow isn't your color." I chuckle. "That one looks great on you," I say before dissapearing into the small booth, which I hate. I already get chills when thinking about small places. But the booth has a curtain instead of a door and there is a lot of light so that makes it much better. "I love that one, you should totally take it!" She shrieks at the dress I'm currently wearing. At the moment we're trying on some dresses. "I love it too," I say while enjoying the look of it. "I'm going to try those jeans now." Lucy comes straight and jumps into the booth. "I will not be able to buy much after today." I laugh looking at the pile of clothes I want to buy. A few seconds later I hear Lucy laughing, "Same, but at least we'll look good." A laugh leaves my lips.

I feel the beat of the music take over the rhythm of my heart while dancing around the room with Sirius. I'm laughing on top of my longs, enjoying an evening with my friends. James jumps around on all their beds. Peter and Remus are also bouncing around the room. Sirius spins me around and I bump into James whos tumbles of one of the beds. He falls on top of me which makes me laugh even harder until I can't breathe and pain appears in my belly. "You're so heavy!" I shriek with a laughing voice. "That's mean, Ms Merriweather, I'm an average weight." A chuckle follows as he rolls of me. "Can someone pull me up?" He then asks. I jump up and take his hand almost toppling over again. He laughs as he turns on the music even harder. I take his hands and spin him around. Remus and Peter pretend to be the guitar players, Sirius reenacts the drums while James and I take on a singing battle. A big smile stays on my face as I take a fall on one of the boy's bed. "I feel like I've won the battle," James says grinning as he falls next to me. "Absolutely not!" I shout while hitting him with a pillow. "I give a point to Jo." Remus agrees. "I have to give this one to James." Peter chuckles. "Well Sirius, choose between my perfect performance and James' wacky one." I grin. "That's a hard choice, my lady." He takes out a fake crown and puts it on my head. "Jo Merriweather won the battle!" He roars. The boys laugh with me. "I would like to thank my mom and dad, my bestfriends and of course non existing boyfriend." I smirk while bowing. "Next time, I'll beat you." James states. "We'll see, Potter."
