MY HEARTS STOPS THE MOMENT I SEE HOW HIS LIPS TOUCH HERS. Luckily the only person who is here right now is Theo. He looks at me and I try to hide how my heart drops on the ground. "Luce...?" "I am fine," I say and I turn around to walk back into the castle. Not soon after I hear footsteps coming after me. "Don't say a word." I threaten when he catches up with me. I bit my tongue trying not to sound like a bitch, but it's hard. We walk to an empty corridor and the moment no one can see us I slide down to the floor and lean with my head against the wall. "Luce, he is a dick and-" "We are not together. This is the reason we are not together. We both shouldn't care when they make out with others... And look at me now." He sits down next to me and I lean with my head on his shoulder. "He cares. I saw the look on his face when we had to kiss during truth or dare a few weeks ago. All I saw was pain. Believe me, he cares." "Why don't I see it then...-" I mumble pain reflects in my voice. I hear people talk and they come closer and closer but for once I don't care if people see me in pain. Giggles come closer and I almost directly realise who they are. I close my eyes forcing myself not to look at the two, now walking into the hallway.

Silence. "Lucy?" "Go away, Charles," I say painful while keeping myself together. "Are you okay?" "Didn't you fucking hear me? Go. the fuck. away." The girl mumbles: "rude" and after she continues walking. "Are you coming, Charles?" "Just go to the great hall, I will be right behind you." He says and the girl disappears. I quickly stand and look at the boy in front of me. "Are you deaf, Garfield?" "What's going on with you? Is something wrong?" I back away from the boy who's trying to get closer to me. "I was just casually on my way to you because we were supposed to spend the day together... When I saw how you stuck your tongue down her throat." "What is going on here?" I turn around to see Jo walk to Theodore, but I can't show any feelings towards her right now. "Ssst," Theo says but I ignore it. "I don't get you, Garfield. One moment you're like: "you're mine" and the next you make out with other girls. What's wrong with you?!" I yell to him while the first tears roll down my cheek. "You ruin it every single time and every time I come back to you! And you still can't see it!" I push him away from me as he comes too close. "What the fuck, Lucy! Stop being so ridiculous!" He says angrily while looking at me.

"Unbelievable! You're fucking unbelievable!" "What's wrong now?!" "I fucking loved you through everything and you don't even care!" I yell at him as I jerk off the bracelet he gave me and throw it to his face. "Why the fuck don't you get it, Lucy?! You are not important to me! You are just another name on my list!" He suddenly yells at me breaking my heart even more. "Why- why are you saying that?" "I can't believe it, you actually fell for me." He laughs coldly and I step forward close enough for me to touch him. "So you are telling me, that you don't shiver under my touch. That you did not beg me to fuck you, to let go of other guys! Tell me, Charles! Was it all a lie?!" There is silence for a moment. "It was." "You...-" "It fucking was Luce!" I stumble back while feeling like I just fell in a deep dark hole. This boy just broke my heart and jumped on it, but why do I still care? I feel like breaking down and I keep walking away from the boys and the two friends who saw everything.
