"I AM GOING TO GET SNACKS FOR TONIGHT, IS THAT OKAY?" Keith asks as he gets up. We are done with the feast and now everyone is getting ready for the party. "Yeah that's fine, then we-" Hudson points at Jo and August. "-are going to make sure the common room is ready for a party." "Wait a minute, is it going to be in our common room?" "That's what he just said," I say while looking at Nate, wondering where he's going with this. "How about my friends then, they want to attend too." My friends stare at the brown-haired boy for a moment. "Sorry but no Slytherins allowed." Isaac gives a dirty stare to the boy moreover to his friends. For a moment, no one is talking, but Keith breaks the silence. "When do we start?" "9 pm," I already know why he wants to know and it's not fair. "I will tell Lily then." three, two, one.

"It's not fair, why is he allowed to invite people from different houses and I am not." Nate looks at me because he knows I am the only one who can fix this. "We don't want your snakes." "Don't you see how prejudicial you are?" "You are ridiculous, we don't trust them." "Keep dreaming, Lanchester." "I don't understand how you are a Ravenclaw." "They won't do anything wrong."

"Enough!" I stop the bickering. "But Luce-" Isaac starts. "I said enough. There is no straight line right now. If I understand it correctly Gryffindors are allowed and Slytherins aren't. That's not fair because those Slytherin boys are also my friends-" "I thought we weren't friends." Cassius says and I give him a dead stare. "Do you want me to save your arse or not?" He keeps silent what makes me grin. "So, in my opinion, we should move the party to the room of requirement or we say we will allow everyone in our common room. The choice is yours." My friends look at me not knowing what to say. "Okay, I will decide then." I climb on the table and stand while putting my wand against my throat. "There will be a party in the Ravenclaw common room tonight on an invitation only. Within now and 8.30 pm you may get an invitation. If you have one, the party starts at 9! See you then."

I look around trying to find people I know. The party started a while ago and most people are already inside. Somehow I can't seem to find Charles and Noah. Theodore, Nate, and Cassius are already here but the other two are still traceless. I see some of my friends. Jo is sitting on a sofa with the marauders, August, Elle and Hudson around her. Keith is close to me with Levi and Rachel. I look further and my eyes meet Nate's. He smiles a bit and mimes: thank you. I smile back at him and focus on the boy who walks towards me with a drink. "Took you long enough," I say as I grab the firewhiskey. "Sorry, there was a line. I still don't like the fact that there are Slytherins here." "Tell me you didn't start a fight or anything. I know some people are here uninvited, but I am not going to send them away when they are not causing any trouble." "You are too sweet, Luce." I lean against him for a moment and simper. "You are one of the first ones who is saying that. I know my reputation." "Those people are just jealous. It's a reputation the girls that hate you, gave you." He says as he tucks away some hair behind my ear. I chuck my drink down and step away from him. "I am going to get some fresh air-" "I will walk with you." I sigh and make my way to the statue that will let us out. Right before I can walk out Isaac pushes me against the wall. "What are you doing?" He leans in and it's weird. I kind of want this, but at the same time, I don't. He kisses me for a moment, but it doesn't feel right. I try to push him away but he doesn't give in. Finally, he lets go of me and smiles. "I need to go, Isaac." I want to walk around him but he grabs my arm. "If you want we can go to my dormitory and have some fun." "I am sorry Isaac, but I can't. It doesn't feel right." I pull me out of his grip and start to walk. "Come back here, Lucy. I just want to have fun with my best friend." I turn to him while I keep moving away from him. "You are not my best friend. He would never try to force me into doing things with him." Suddenly I bump into someone who pushes me carefully behind him. "That's enough, Murphy. Get out of here." I must say I have never been so happy to see Charles. After Isaac disappeared he turns to me. "I don't want to ask this but do you wanna get out of here?" I  hesitate for a moment. "It's fine if you don't want to, but-" "Yeah, that sounds like a good plan." "My dormitory?" He looks at me. "We can play with some cards or do chess?" "That sounds so much better than the party right now... Let's go." Right before we leave to common room I look around one last time, my friends won't notice if I disappear, right?
