Lucy Reese Collins

I LET MY FINGERS TRAIL OVER HIS BODY when he suddenly grabs my hand. "You are such a tease, Luce." He whispers with closed eyes. "You like it." I chuckle as I continue with my other hand. "Do you think it's bad to have sex when you're pregnant?" He whispers and immediately I get up. "Honestly Charles, and you wonder why you weren't a Ravenclaw." He rolls his eyes and rolls on me while pinning my hands above me. "Shut up, Luce." "Make me," I whisper in his ear and after his lips touch mine. "I love you, Luce." "I love you too." I smile while looking in his eyes. There is silence for a moment. "Baby, get up, get dressed, we have to be somewhere." He stands and gets dressed leaving me alone in the kingsize bed. "What, why?" I say while I glance at his body. "Just get dressed, pretty girl." He says as he comes closer to me. "Fine," I mumble and after my feet touch the cold floor.

We apparate to London. When we land I lean against the wall trying to make the nauseousness go away. "Are you okay?" Charles moves closer and forces me to look him in his eyes. "Yeah, I am. Just don't apparate when you're pregnant and still experience morning sickness." He chuckles a bit as he presses a kiss on my forehead. "What did you want to show me?" "Turn around." I do as he says and right in front of me, there is a beautiful house. "Charles, why did you bring me here? Is this your house?" "Not yet, I have been looking at it for a while because it's absolutely magical... But something was missing and I couldn't quite recall what." He says while holding me close. "This house is so big and you want to have it for yourself? You are pretty rich aren't you?" "It's not for me alone. I figured what was missing and well, it was you." He says with a small smile waiting for my reaction. "I...-" I am speechless. For the first time in a while, I actually don't know what to say. "If you don't want it, it's fine... I just-" "Charles you're a fucking idiot! I would love to, but however, then your- our house is still pretty big." I say while looking at the residence. "That's because I thought about an expanding of the family." He whispers while cupping my chin. "With me? When did you think about this?" "A week before you broke it with me." He says with a sad smile. Suddenly I feel really bad. "I am sorry, Charles. I never meant to hurt you so bad." "Don't worry about it. I am pretty sure you were hurting as much as I was." Silence.

"If I could do anything to make it up to you-" "Marry me." He interrupts me and I immediately look in his brown eyes. "Are you sure?" "I have never been so sure about anything in my entire life." He says as he steps back and goes down on one knee. I cover my mouth with my hand trying not to cry. "Lucy Reese Collins, do you want me the happiest wizard in London and marry me?" He says as he holds out a box. I fall on my knees as well bringing myself closer to the boy I love. "Why do you think you even had to ask that question? You had me at marry me." I whisper before pecking my lips on his. I fucking love this boy.

Josephine Lyla Merriweather

I TAKE A BREATHE BEFORE FOLDING OPEN THE PIECE OF PAPER,

Dear Jo,

I saw you kept your promise and won the game.
Both teams did great. Thank you.
I'm sorry about the other thing, I didn't wish that on you..
I hope you're well and I'll see you as soon as possible,

I love you

Truly yours,
Luce

I smile folding the small paper closed and putting it back on my desk. I stare into nothingness for a second before I hear a knock on the door. Lianna comes through the door making me put a smile on my face. "Last few hours at Hogwarts." She starts a conversation. I smile and nod, "Mhm, are you ready to leave?" I ask. She takes a moment to think before answering, "No, but I mean we have to leave, we can't stay forever." I smile. "We're going to build ourselves a new life." A sigh leaves my lips. "Yes, we are." She has a smile resting on her face. "I'm going to the boys in a few minutes, want to join?" I shake my head, "I think I'm going to take a walk," "Sure, I'll see you later." I nod. "Good evening, Lianna." I take a jacket with me and then leave the dormitory. One last night at Hogwarts. All my friends and me in one place.

I'm strolling through the hallways, here and there there are some students walking. It's half an hour before curfew but I don't think they would mind that much because it's the last evening before we leave to take the train back to London. I don't stop walking until I feel the summer night breeze in my face. My eyes are locked on the small greenhouses on the field. My thoughts go back to the times that I spend hours reading on the small wooden bench set between herbs and flowers, or that time that Nathaniel and I fell into the mud. Or a little further, the black lake. All the moments spent there with friends from all houses. Merlin, I miss those times.

"I thought I'd find you here." I turn around and see Hudson stepping in the moonlight. "Okay, maybe I asked Nathaniel, where you could be, but-" I cut him off by pressing my lips softly against him. "I love you," I whisper while we keep our heads close. "Are you okay? I know we're leaving Hogwarts tomorrow morning, so that could be the reason, but I just wanted to know if you are okay, because-" "Since when are you the one to stutter." A grin settling on my face. He chuckles a bit. I open my mouth to say something but close it a few seconds later. "I'm feeling gloomy because the day of the last quidditch match, I- the reason I was bleeding was not that I had a scratch, I lost- our baby." The last two words I whisper in a soft tone. Not sure how he is going to react. He glances at me for a few seconds before snapping back into reality. "You were pregnant?" I nod. "I'm so sorry, love." He pulls me into a hug. "I was going to tell you, but after laying in the hospital wing I didn't really know how to-" "It's okay, really. You told me now. Do think you ever want to try again?" I can hear the hesitation in his voice when he asks the last question. I glance into his eyes for a moment. "Hudson, I thought we settled on wanting two kids. I'm not giving up on our dreams." He smiles pulling me back into a hug. "I love you, Jo."

For another few minutes, we stayed there. Looking into the darkness, enjoying the peace. At one moment I turn around to ask Hudson something when he has a small grin on his face. "What are you doing?" I ask when he takes my hands and goes down on one knee. I move one hand to my lips. Is he- "Jo, I can't say this any other than the fact that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're the love of my life. Josephine Lyla Merriweather, will you do me the honour of marrying me?" I immediately bop my head, "Yes! Of course, I want to! I love you! Yes!" I jump into his arms as he swings me around. I love this boy with whole my heart.
