I FEEL EYES BURNING ON MY BODY WHEN APPEARING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GREAT HALL. I know it's early, but I couldn't stay at home anymore. It's lunch and there aren't a lot of people here. I notice Jo, Hudson, August and Lianna on the table of Ravenclaw, but somehow my feet bring me to the Slytherin table. "Do you mind if I sit down?" I whisper as I arrive at the boys. They all look up, clearly surprised to see me here. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be home?" Noah asks surprised but also worried. "I couldn't stay there. Mary told me that I could stay at their place but I just wanted to come to my real home." "Mary?" Charles asks confused. "Jo's mom. Apparently, her mom is my mother's sister." "So that makes you and Josephine-?" "Cousins," I answer Theodores question. "Damn, some secrets don't get buried with you in your grave," Nate says while running a hand through his hair. "Tell me about it," I mumble as I grab something to eat. I can feel his gaze but ignore it. I don't want to think about him right now.
Later that day I am in the Slytherin common room. Regulus and I sit on a sofa with his friends around us. "Why are you already here?" "I told you, Reggie, I can't stay there," I mumble while leaning against him. "I know, you said that, but I don't know if you should go back there at all." What is he saying? "What are you saying?" I decide to relief my thoughts. "Just, that my mom loves you and I am pretty sure you can stay at my place as well." He says carefully. "I got another offer as well," I say without looking at him. I don't want to fight right now, I just want to relax and keep my mind off my mom and Isaac. "From who?" "That's not important-" "Regulus! There you are-" My eyes meet Emma's. "What are you doing here? Don't you know this isn't your common room?" She says mean, as she looks at me angrily. "Leave it, Emma," Narcissa says sharply. Merlin, I really love the Black family right now. "Don't take her side, Cissy. She is just a Ravenclaw." Emma looks at her for a moment. "I am your friend." "And she's family." Bellatrix finishes what makes some others look up as well. "Family? Haha, so funny." She sneers while laughing, which makes me lean forward. "But it's true tho. Poor Emma. First I took the first boy you ever loved, then I made sure you lost your title as quidditch captain and now I take another boy you like... yet again."
"Slytherin much?" I suddenly hear, what makes me turn around. "Nate, Cassius, what are your doing here?" "We are going to do some drinks with the others, care to join us?" I smile and nod. "I wanted to ask if I could sleep here anyways... I will be there in 5." "Can't wait," Nate winks and I know he does this because Emma is really close to breaking down. Narcissa looks at me with a small smile. "You and Nate?" I shake my head. "No me and Charles had a moment one time." I laugh while looking at one of Emma's friends. I don't know her name, but I know she told Charles she loved him after they hooked up together. Let's say it wasn't pretty after. "And you two still hang out?" Andromeda looks confused. "We do, but as friends." Silence. "But I got to go, I will talk to you later, right?" "Sure, have fun." Regulus kisses my cheek before letting me stand. I walk to the dormitory of Charles, Noah and Theodore and knock on the door. "Come on in, beautiful." I hear what makes me roll my eyes. I step inside and see how the boys sit on some sofas with an empty bottle and a bottle of firewhiskey in their middle. "We thought you wanted to get wasted," Charles says with a small grin when he notices that I am going to sit down next to him. "Definitely," I grin while grabbing a glass. "Here you go, Luce," Noah says as he pours some firewhiskey into my glass. "Are you going to slow down tonight?" Cassius asks carefully. "Absolutely not." I smile and after I chuck down my drink.
