Lucy Reese Collins

I SLOWLY OPEN THE DOOR WHILE LOOKING AROUND, hoping no one is here right now. "Miss Lucy, good to see that your back. I already thought I heart something in the living room." I quickly look up only to see Molly. "Oh yeah, I am sorry for not coming through the front door, the only way to travel out of Hogwarts is through the Floo network." "That's fine, miss Lucy. How is Hogwarts so far?" "It's fine. My friends help me a lot with processing Mom's and Isaac's death." I say while we both walk to my room. I start to pack things and soon Molly helps me.

"Miss, if you don't mind me asking? Why are you packing your things? You are coming home this summer right?" I shake my head as I grab a photo with me and my mom. "I am not, I'm sorry Molly." She stays silent and leaves the room. I feel so sorry for her. After I finished packing I mumble a spell that makes the stuff disappear. They are at Hogwarts right now. I grab a sock and hold it close to me. After I walk downstairs. "Molly?" The house-elf appears and smiles. "I need to ask you this Molly because I couldn't live with myself if I leave you here while you are not happy. Do you want to work for just my dad, or not?" Her eyes go big while looking at me. "I- I don't think I can say that, miss." "I order you to say the truth." I smile a bit, still holding the sock. "I- I don't miss Lucy. I don't want to work for him if you are not here." I smile a bit and give her the sock. "Then I will set you free... Unless you want to work for me alone." I say slowly what makes her lookup. She grabs the sock and I sigh. "I would love to, miss Lucy." She says after while looking at me. "Okay, then. You can go work at Hogwarts in the kitchen till I am graduated. When I need you I will say your name." "Thank you, Miss Lucy." And with those words, she disappears.

"What did you do!?" I look at the door and see the man calling himself my dad. He runs towards me and grabs my arm. "You are not worth living, you piece of shit." He hisses angrily while pointing his wand on me. "Crucio" I hit the ground hard while I feel like my bones are on fire. I can't help but scream and I am pretty sure you can hear it outside. After what feels like forever he storms towards me holding a knife. "You are going to pay!" He pushes me hard on the ground and only moments later the knife gets in touch with my arm and the screaming starts again.

I arrived in the common room of Ravenclaw again and the moment I stand I realise how much pain I have. Blood oozes from my right hand to the floor and there is nothing I can do about it. I need Jo, I need my best friend. I leave the common room and start wandering around the corridors as trying to get to the courtyard. I am almost there when someone grabs my arm.

"Luce, you are bleeding." I look at the dark-blonde boy while turning around. "It's nothing, I need to get to Jo." I want to keep moving but Nate pulls me to the side and rolls up my sleeve. "Nate, I said it's nothing. Let it go." That's when the word appears, "failure" he mumbles while reading it from my arm. I pull away and step back but Noah makes sure I can't escape. "Nothing is going on, I promise." "That's not nothing, Lucy," Noah says as pointing at my arm. "You need to get out of there." Nate. "As soon as possible." Noah finishes. "What's going on?" We all turn around and see Charles. "Nothing is going on. I need to go to Jo." I say and after I walk further to the courtyard.
